Big Rondo fan I see, lol

I love old school point guards that can control the game.

Grew up loving Gary Payton and John Stockton. Rondo is built from those guy’s cloth.

You must have turned them to zero with their 5/28 3PT shooting tonight

Dallas didn't stop doing anything.

The Clippers have defended them well for the last 6 quarters at this point. The first 2 games were not luck and shooting with the "sliders turned up". It was poor defense.

Big win and still could get more shooting from the role players at some point

Good win, but that 4th quarter was pretty disappointing. The only reason why things didn't turn bad was that the Mavs shooting was broken and they couldn't capitalize on all the misses. They need to keep attacking the basket or increase the ball movement if they don't get the first shot that they want.

The Clippers have defended them well for the last 6 quarters at this point. The first 2 games were not luck and shooting with the "sliders turned up". It was poor defense.

When wide open, Dallas only shot 37.0% 3PT over the whole season. When just open, they shot 36.9%, basically no difference, as long as it was open or better, they shot 37% 3PT. First three games they shot 50.5% 3PT, Hardaway shot 65% 3PT. Bad defense alone does not account for that.

They were 5/12 (41.7%) on tightly contested three's (regular season 29.7%), and made 2-2 of their very tightly contested three's. Overall on more contested three's, which most teams try to avoid (only 5 teams had higher than 5.6% of their 3PA's as tightly contested), they were 7/14 over the first three games. A lot of bad defense is played around the league and opponents don't carve that up with 50%+ 3PT shooting.

Diaw was always one of my all-time favorite role players. Nice to see Batum take a page out of his book.

I remember when Batum was a high fantasy pick. The guy is just a smart, high IQ glue guy. So glad to have him on the team.

The entire 2nd half was disappointing. They started settling for 3s and not attacking. The D was much better, but Dallas missed a lot of shots that were falling in Games 1 and 2. I hope the Clips didn't get into some bad habits in that 2nd half. Fully expect the Mavs to change up their lineup and play more Porzingis and Boban to see if they can get Lue to give them a more favorable matchup.

Give it up to Batum. He played very well. 4 Stls, 2 Blocks, and 5 rbs.

Yah, the long-missing "sense of urgency" and playing downhill on the offensive end that built a 20+-point lead from the get-go disappeared, but at least there was no lazy defense or hotdogging scatterass turnovers trying to be the Globetrotters.

I'd have liked to see them pour it on but they never gave it back either. They were all business tonight.

Only 14 wins to go.

Thank you Clippers for giving me some ammo against my Mavericks Fan GF after all the flack she gave me after going down 0-2.

It didn’t feel like it but seems like they were able to get 18 mins tonight and that’s with fouling out.
I’m sure the Mavs will try to use Boban again
