Game 4 tonight.... No more suspense re Ibaka. Mitchell gimpy.. still no Conley.

Clippers 5 point favs.

Really is a must-win game for Clippers. Everybody has to step up... again. Agree that Game 3 strategy against Gobert worked well, and also on Mitchell - the crazy effort he is putting out is taking its toll on his bad ankle.. Make him pay for dribble drives, keep doubling him.

The Twitterverse is talking up a Chris Paul vs. Clippers conference finals storyline, where Clippers are forced to defeat the very player who made them relevant, and Chris Paul has a chance at revenge against the team who tarnished some of his hall of fame credibility by making him the league leader in most playoff games played with a conference finals visit. It doesn't help that the Clippers also have Rajon Rondo who baited Paul into a regular season ejection and first ever suspension, not to mention exposing Paul as an evil player in a media interview, ruining his nice guy image and forever destroying his hall of fame legacy. For Paul, it's personal.

Last year, Clippers failed to live up their end of the bargain in a Battle Of L.A. with Lakers in conference finals, stunting the league's ratings and revenue. Clippers vs. Paul can be what saves the league similar to how the Lakers-Celtics rivalry saved the NBA from bankruptcy in the 1980's. But they gotta get past the Jazz first, where they are faced with a 0-5 in 2nd round visits, 0-3 vs. Jazz with the chance at the NBA landscape being changed, and creating their first ever curse breaker by trying to become the first team in history to come back from 2-0 deficits in back-to-back rounds.

I liked how we looked with home cooking in Game 3. It was the best win of the playoffs for me - start to finish. No 3rd Quarter choke (even Game 7 against the Mavs had that).

Here's to hoping that what is happening is this team is getting better little by little, brick by brick, game by game.

Donovan can get his, that's not the problem. Just gotta make sure the team shuts down their role players.

Someone on Twitter brought up something interesting. Jazz make their 3's and the Clippers don't, Jazz barely win. Both teams make 3's, Clippers win in a blowout. It's because Utah offense is totally dependent on the 3 and they don't really have any other other consistent way to score.

kinda nuts that this team isn't up 2-1 or 3-0 already with conley out for 3 games. and the best we can do is 2-2 with him being out a 4th lol

Some things the Clips need to do/continue to do:
1. Force Mitchell and Clarkson to defend, so they are exerting energy on both ends of the floor
2. Go at O'Neal, if we can get him in foul trouble early, it benefits us
3. Limit Morris to no more than 3 shots per half
4. Unleash PBev on Mitchell. Force Mitchell to work hard on offense and test that ankle.

Donovan is the problem. When he gets going, the team feed off that energy. In game 1, they couldn't make a basket, then Donovoan gets going and they just start hitting shots.

Can we not start another game where we go down 0-8, 3-12?
