freakin' nba caused this fxcking injury by not giving us rest days between cities at least. How do we have one rest day from game 2 to game 3 where we change cities? That's usually 2 days rest. NBA causing all the injuries this PO season. Freaking BS.

Adam Silver should be fired. He is terrible at his job.

Don't know that a day or two of rest will prevent some of these injuries. Teams should be giving these players periodic MRIs to identify problem areas. You might be able to identify areas at risk for further injury (e.g. Ligaments with minor tears)

The clippers played something like 11 games in like 15 days. Something crazy like that. Kawh was playing 40mins plus a game. Of course it would have helped. If we had more rest in last series and this series.

We have played the most games and the most mins. Partly our fault for choosing our fate against doncic to avoid the lakers who flamed out anyway.

The worst part is that this was our golden opportunity to make a deep run with no healthy Lakers/Warriors and all the things other teams are dealing with right now. So of course the absolute worst-case scenario happens and we lose in the second round AGAIN.

I genuinely believe I'll never see the Clippers in the WCF in my lifetime. There's always something that happens to ensure we're stuck in NBA purgatory forever. :nonono:

I don't give a **** about making it to the WCF like kawhi said, I want to win the finals! I just hope Kawhi has nothing major and needs a few days or a week or so off. Gotta hope there's a miracle in utah tonight.

I knew that guy wasn't okay. All this talk about Kawhi saying he was ok. I told no one to believe that BS. When has kawhi ever openly talked about his medical history? Even when he was limping in san antonio and toronto, the guy was saying he was okay. :noway:

Injuries happen. It’s a tough break and you kind of feel like we’re cursed, but **** happens. CP3 has COVID, maybe he will be out for a few games. The Warriors got injured during the playoffs and couldn’t beat the Raptors. Do you think the Raptors would have beat a full strength Warriors squad? I don’t. Do the Suns beat a full strength AD and the Lakers?

Anyone blaming the commissioner is ridiculous. In the 80s and early 90s, these guys used to fly commercial and didn’t have 2 days off in between games.

Dude, they didn't seven game series in the first round.

And also, we know more about sports medicine and how important recovery is to prevent injuries. Just because BS passed in the 80s, shouldn't mean it should pass in 2021. In the 80s and 90s, players were playing with calf through knee strains thinking it made them tough , should we continue to do that too?

don't do that to ingles. He didn't do anything wrong. The nba did. they ruined the whole season. Let's just hope we can win tonight and kawhi just needs additional rest.

Hope we start Mann and get Rondo some minutes in this one (if he’s even healthy). Obviously this **** sucks but there will be plenty of time to mourn the loss if he is out for the series/playoffs. Remember, this team had an incredible stretch in the regular season with Kawhi out. I’m not writing off this game yet.

Neither am I. I hope we can pull it off and I hope Kawhi doesn't have any ligmaent damage to his knee. I hope its just a sprain or bruised knee or hyper extended that needs time.

It is the league's fault. The amount of stars missing significant time in the playoffs has been insane in recent years, and this has been possibly the worst year of all. The modern style of basketball is too taxing on players' bodies. The season absolutely needs to have less games and more rest between games and the only thing stopping it is short-sighted greed.

exactly. It's not just one team. The pace is alot faster than the 80s and 90s. Michael Jordan's bulls didn't have an offensive rating of 120 or some sh-t like that. Nor did he play with a shorten shotclock on offensive rebounds or defensive that requires you to move your feet without handchecking.

The players are asked to do more and at a ridiculous pace.
