Chris Haynes is a Kawhi insider. He broke Kawhi to the clippers. Is Kawhi coming back soon?!

There was a picture of him sitting in a suite watching the game floating around just after half but I thought it was a fake.

Nice to see him there and celebrating with the team.

So what does this tell us? He obviously hasn’t had surgery. Reading comments in various places if he was going to require surgery he’d most definitely be wearing a brace, boot or using crutches at the very least. He doesn’t have any of that in the tunnel or locker room.

I don’t want to get my hopes up or assume he’d be available against Phoenix at any point but this seems like a positive sighting.

I guess we’re hopeful it’s not worst case scenario, but still completely unknown if he’ll play this series or the next if it comes to that.

The silence doesn’t seem promising, but yeah it’s definitely nice to see him walking around without aids. Even if he can walk around fine, I’m sorta surprised he doesn’t have it heavily wrapped or braced just to prevent injury.

When the injury 1st happened, he continued to play, so i didn't think much about the ACL. However, I think it was Ron Harper that played more in the same game after an ACL injury back with the Clips. Tiger Woods won the U.S. Open in 2008 on a torn ACL, so it isn't immediately a no go.

However, based on the lack of information, Kawhi not sitting at the bench, ESPN never even showing him in the crowd and then Paul George's post game comments, I thought for sure he had surgery. With these pictures emerging though, I have more hope. They have stability tests, so if there was a concern there, he would definitely been in a brace (at a minimum) or would have had immediate surgery. The tunnel video is the most promising for hopes that he will be back soon.

Classic Kawhi in the Mann locker room video. Everyone is going nuts and he is just back there clapping.

How epic would that be for us to take 2 games in Phoenix and then get Kawhi back for the 1st WCF home game in Clippers history?

Makes sense, but if he had a tear, he wouldn't be without any sort of assistance like a brace, crutches, etc. Still a sprain can be 2-4 weeks, so, yea...

We don’t have an MRI yet right?

They wait for the swelling to go down. This happens with pitchers when they tear their UCL.

Nonetheless, enough time has lapsed. We should have MRI results by now.

Agreed. If it was very serious I'd have to think he would have been on crutches, had a brace, something.

Would be great if he could make it back by game 4 or 5.

I believe we can best PHX without him though. And if he could come back for the finals (if we get there) that would be amazing.

Totally effing ridiculous. That MF Silver is trying to finish the season fast so he can start the next one in October.

I hope this is true, and it does seem to fit with the (very) limited information we've had... but if I recall correctly, Haynes is the same reporter who said we were keeping Doc, and he was wrong about that. Fingers crossed that he has more accurate sources this time!
