The guy is just an in your grill defender. Do we forget how he took on the challenge of Durant a couple of years back in the playoffs?
Until I looked up PB's numbers, it didn't hit me that the Clips are down not 1, but two 3 time 1st Team All-NBA Defensive players. With Rondo and PG's multiple 1st Team All NBA Defensive team selections, the Clips have surrounded Mann with the people he needs to become a top 2 way player in this game.

Beverley plays rough and he can be careless. If you mean intentionally dirty, not, but he definitely has a reputation for being dirty because of his going all out mentality. He's not a guy who gets the benefit of the doubt with any sort of contact type situation, and rightly so. It's all good, he's always loved by the teams he's on and hated by others.

I think this sums it up perfectly. You can say he was careless in the collision with Booker, but the idea that he could have purposely head butted him in that instant as Booker was making his own move seems totally implausible.

yeah he plays real tough so the chance that unintentional damage occurs is way higher than for the average player. doesn't mean dirty at all.

Fair or unfair, Beverley has had that reputation since the Westbrook play years ago. It is what it is.
However, I don't want to hear Suns fans whining that Beverley is a dirty player and a flopper when they have CP3 on their team, a guy who's been making dirty plays and flopping since Wake Forest.

Never saw the guy as a dirty player. Never once thought, "he went after that ball in order to injure Westbrook". I think it's fairly lame when people label him that way.

Sure.
Dirty? We have had players in our league that have set their foot under other players shooting a jump shot. Let's not mention the physical/dirty late 80s and early 90s ball this league had. I never got those vibes from Pat.

Very dirty player has quite a history with 1/4th of league players constantly complaining about his dirty ways yet the league does absolutely nothing to punish him. This isn't the UFC you cannot play that way with most players feel intimidated stepping on the court afraid of being tripped, broken nose, etc. Sonething needs to be done but sadly nothing will until a player breaks his leg or tears ACL for the league to finally take notice and punish him properly.

Not even Beverley causes controversy on a weekly basis, let's be real now. The only players doing that are LeBron and sometimes Durant.

Okay, I apologize then just very frustrating whenever I watch Clippers play bev seems to be in the middle of things. Anyways, good luck let's hope for a good game injury free.

As a Suns fan I don't view him as dirty. When you're not the most skilled/talented player you need to find a way to stay in the league. Beverly does this with his intensity and defense. It kind of reminds me of Delly on the Cavs in 15 or 16( can't remember the year, time is flying). The dude just had to go all out to make his mark.
When you're always playing with the edge Bev does, **** is bound to happen. My biggest problem with him his mouth, in particular immediately following the Kawhi/pg13 signings.

Beverley has more issues with talking too much and doing dumb things on the court than with actually intentionally trying to injure anyone.
