Anyone actually thinks we can make the playoff this year?

Assuming no Kawhi for most the season. I really doubt it.

Huh? We're a 4th or 5th seed this season even without Kawhi. Did you not see us dispatch of the Jazz in the playoffs without Kawhi last season and making it to the WCF?

Yes, but the record without Leonard was 11-9 in the regular season, 4-4 in the playoffs. They're basically a .500 bubble team that needs a play-in tournament to determine whether they make it or not.

We are talking about a 82 game season here. We already know how tough our schedule is. I think we'll be in the play in tourney this year.

Between 5th-7th seed but we should make it in if George is reasonably healthy.

Chippy 1st round team that goes down in 6 is my guess. That could change if Kawhi strolls in ready to get some games under his belt in late March/early April, but I don’t see it

But you guys are also saying these other western conference teams are flawless and could run away with things. Denver and Utah will be the strongest but everything else feels like a crap shoot out there for seeding imo. I'm a league pass guy and a watch alot of teams play and I'm not seeing world beaters and for sure top 4 like in years past as far as the opposition is concerned. Yes Kawhi out for a majority of our 82 game schedule is not good at all but unless we suffer an injury to a significant player we're right there in the mix as far as I'm concerned. Its early but the Lakers, Suns, Mavs, Blazers, etc. aren't all that. Hell it took one of Curry's greatest games to beat us tonight and we didn't have Batum, Ibaka nor did Ty Lue open up the bench with Boston, Scrubb, and Heartenstein and we shot like sh*t and some people are saying the "Warriors are back in title contention"

We should be in the 4-6th range if we healtier for the rest of season.

I think we're a play-in team for sure. Maybe just ahead of the play-in teams if Kawhi comes back sooner than expected.

I would be extremely disappointed if we don't make playoffs this year. I don't see a top 4 finish with Utah, Denver, Suns and Warriors in the mix. But I think 5-7 seed is where we should end up. Lakers are very over-rated, Dallas may never make that jump, Memphis probably are a playoff team now, Portland is 8th seed at best. Pelicans, Thunder, Kings, Rockets have no chance. We'll see if Minny and Spurs can push for playoffs this year.
