I must have missed that by a minute or so before posting.
Of course! Only to Clippers.

Paul George is out tonight due to Covid. My question is do players only get tested now when showing symptoms or do they still get tested all the time?

Yep. Looks hot off the presses as ESPN doesn't even have it yet. Looks like it's from Woj though so probably pretty credible.

Looks like Action Jackson needs to activate a game early.

I'd like to see Powell to move into starting line-up and not Coffey. This could be a big game for him. But we'll probably have Reggie taking 25 shots instead.

lol. Fitting end to the season.
The Clippers should have taken care of business against Minnesota.

The Clipper fan understands the Book of Exodus better than anyone... what it's like to struggle 40 years in the wilderness... and Genesis.. why Cain went after Abel... So fLakers, look out... we're coming.

I'm starting to believe we are cursed. There will always be something down the road to bite us and this PG&Kawhi tenure ends with no Clippers ring.
2024-25 Clippers W/L Count against OKC, HOU, PHX, MIN (0-14)
2024-25 Clippers W/L Count against rest of NBA (43-18)

Re: Play-in Game 2: vs Pelicans 7:00pm PST on TNT
While I think we still have a very good shot at winning this game, the potential Suns series just went from really tough to gentleman's sweep at best, since PG has symptoms. But let's focus on tonight and hopefully take it from there. The highest moments of the season came without PG & Kawhi, so why should this be any different.
Also, as a personal favour, please refrain from rubbing salt on the wound by saying that we should've taken care of business against Minnesota. PG would've still been out for most, if not the entire first round, so what does it even matter?

Re: Play-in Game 2: vs Pelicans 7:00pm PST on TNT
You know what, screw this season. It clearly wasn't meant to be. Maybe it's for the best that this team gets the summer off to get healthy (barring a miracle). And maybe missing the playoffs will shock the front office into finally addressing our point guard and rebounding issues.
Also, the play-in tournament needs to go away now. I've thought it was a stupid gimmick ever since it was first created. Even if we had taken care of business against Minnesota, I'd still hate it. Cramming even more games into the season during a pandemic isn't looking like such a great idea right now. Just imagine the dumpster fire of injuries/COVID that's going to happen when Silver gets his dumbass midseason tournament that nobody asked for next.

Ty can't worry about saving anything for the Suns, he's gotta go all in on this one.
I'm hoping this forces him to be more creative with the lineups and combinations of our personnel, but unfortunately it could also easily mean too many minutes for Morris.
Any time Morris is in you're making a conscious decision that offense matters a lot more than defense and rebounds, which should only be situationally called for and not most of the game. But now we may just need an 18-20 point game from Morris to have a shot.

just so sad we're now facing elimination without Paul George because lue felt the need to - and this is me assuming - appease his veteran starters instead of simply playing his best players. total doc move and now we're in a really bad spot.

I don't like it either. Seems like in previous years before they put it in, there was plenty of big games in the last week or two of the season as teams jockeyed for the last 3 or sometimes last 4 seeds, at least the order.
However, they just announced ratings were up, highest since before the pandemic.
There's a ton of coverage on these play-in games.
Silver will argue that play-in is good for ratings, good for the league.
Remember they're trying to get a new TV deal which would be 3X as high as the current one.

I'm looking at it like this. If we win tonight great! Another showing by the team with out it's two stars. If we lose, the team rests and comes back healthy with Kawhi next season.

Or, or the team that got legit playoff seeding in the regular season despite crazy adversity should not be playing a team 10 games under 500 for a chance to be in the playoffs...
