I thought one might call the other. Played his best ball by far for Doc just like DJ did and ~15 mpg is probably his sweet spot. And his head hasn't been right since grandma died. He needs Doc and some emotional stability--remember what Doc did for Keyon Dooling. His Twitter feed has been pretty schitzy but look at him now--
https://www.theplayerstribune.com/articles/keyon-dooling-the-ghostIt was my second day in the mental institution, and I was suffering from paranoid delusions and shivering in the fetal position. All of a sudden, the nurse came into my room and told me that I had a visitor.
The guy walked in the room, and the look in his eyes said it all.
He wasn’t looking at me like, Keyon’s lost his damn mind.
He wasn’t looking at me like, Keyon’s a psychopath.
He was looking at me like, Keyon, what’s going on? What can I do to help, my friend?
It was Doc Rivers.
I will remember that look for the rest of my life.
When Doc heard that I had committed myself to the hospital, he flew up to Boston to see me, all the way from his summer house in Florida, at the drop of a hat. I can’t imagine what he must have thought, seeing me like that.
Doc asked me what was really going on. Just like he had asked me so many times before. Just like my wife had been asking me. Just like everybody close to me had been asking me.
He said, “Keyon, do you want to tell me something? What happened, son?”
I said, “I don’t know, Doc.”
I was lying, of course.
A week before, I had walked into Danny Ainge’s office and told him that I was done with basketball. Out of the blue, just like that. Done...

Oh man, I didn't know about Keyon, thanks for posting that.
Anyway, I do wish Trez well, I never held a grudge against him (besides wishing he was a better 2-way player LOL.)

I don't think Trezz would be happy with 15mpg, but maybe he doesn't have much of a choice based on the off season issues

Embiid plays 33 in any competitive game and more if it's tight. Unless Trezz can suddenly somehow figure out to play the 4 after all these years.
Drummond averaged 18.4 mpg with the 76ers but that included 12 starts when Embiid was dinged.

For sure, I don't think he'll have too much of a choice, but he hasn't played under 17 mpg since he was a rookie and hasn't been under 20 for a while.

True, but that's because there are only a half-dozen legit 5s in the league and Philly's got one.
And the Philly fans went apespit when Doc tried DJ out over fan fave [G-Leaguer] "Basketball Paul" Reed. Doc pulled the plug on that s*&^ in a hurry. Philly fans and sportstalk radio are SAVAGE beyond belief and Doc isn't gonna die on Trezz's hill a second time.
At least I don't think so.

This Sixers team has been mostly gutless since Iverson left and Harden, Tobias and Maxey are pretty quiet guys. I think Philly's gonna dig Trezz's Raging Bull act. They loved Jimmy Butler, who got a bad rep in Chicago and Minnesota.

According to one scout, free agent Montrezl Harrell will be a good fit for Philadelphia. He has a relationship not only with Morey but head coach Doc Rivers as well.
“Harrell needs to stay out of trouble first and foremost. Going where there’s a role and familiarity would be a great idea for him. Morey drafted him in Houston, and he succeeded with Doc Rivers on the Clippers.”
The scout believes he'll be a great fit for the 76ers. Philadelphia did struggle to find players to soak up minutes behind Joel Embiid last season following Andre Drummond being part of the Harden trade to the Nets.
“The Sixers have a lot of firepower playing out of pick-and-roll with Harden and Maxey. Having a roller like Harrell, who can also score in the post or isolation would make it really tough for teams to handle those plug-and-play lineups throughout games. It’s tough enough to handle Embiid, now imagine having to stay out of foul trouble guarding Harrell in the two-man game with those guards? There are some rim protection challenges, but I like the fit a lot.”
Given the impact that Harrell can have offensively, the 76ers would likely trade some of the rim protection they would lose in exchange for that. Harrell brings a lot of energy to the court and produces even in limited minutes.
However, his defensive struggles have proven difficult to overcome once the postseason begins. Despite that, adding quality depth at this point in the offseason is tough to do and the 76ers couldn’t pass on adding an established talent such as Harrell to the mix.
