Tyronn Lue rips Clippers after 4th straight loss, hints at changes

Not really, if you read the article. But preseason is over. Playtime is over. It's time to bullyball these punks. We can win 10 of the next 12 even without Kawhi.

I actually like this quote from Lue in response to the question about the team's body language.
When you’re losing, you got a good team and you have the talent to be good, I think that can happen.

Frustration shouldn't be surprising after a start like this. The issue is figuring out what needs to be done to win some games, the body language fixes itself after that.

I'm not sure I agree. This isn't a good team until they prove that they're good. They're one of the absolute worst teams in basketball right now. Pretending otherwise seems counterproductive to the goal of improving.

Nice Guys Lose Games, Bad Boys Win Titles

I used to say this a lot during the Lob City era. Have a mean streak; get rough; take the techs, flagrants and ejections; whatever it takes to get the win. Know when it's time to say "I've had enough!" and channel your frustrations into an inspired performance.

Some players are playing nice. Not because they want to look pretty, but they fear more for the repercussions that come with playing villain basketball. Yes, the Clippers want to be the Good Samaritan Spurs, model citizens who play for the good of basketball and not be egotistical, going solo, or being a distraction. But at some point, being nice can only take you so far. The Spurs know how to balance niceness with toughness; Clippers have not.

So if they keep losing games as Spurs, maybe be like the Bad Boy Detroit Pistons that Ballmer used to enjoy.

bench all wing lineup looking fairly active on defense - which is nice to see given that boston's the one who might be the most active of the bunch

This is the kind of energy we need to bring every game. I am a bit surprised Boston is playing. But without John Wall, we really need some spark off the bench.

Norm just doesn't have it right now it's head scratching.

Regret not going to this game with Houston having four kids I saw in HS/AAU often with Green, JayGup, KJ, Nix and then BJ from the home side.

10/7 with 3 blocks on 3-3 FG...man, Zu has really taken the next step so far.
