Lue is doing what I finally wanted. If Wall is not going to start, then you need to change the rotation some. I told everyone last year that Wall is still great. The problem with Wall in Houston is that Silas doesn't demand his guys to set picks so it turns Wall into a iso player. When I watched the clippers early the bench guys were doing the same thing
Batum and those guys slip every pick so it doesn't play to Walls strengths. Now I see where lue said because of that, he has decided to bring in Batum earlier with the first unit while bringing out zubac earlier so he can bring zubac in to play with Wall because he is a pick n roll PG.

Lue is actually doing something very unique. He's letting PG handle the ball at times with Wall as the pick man. If the D doubles or collapses on PG, he passes it back to Wall.

Now you basically have a point guard in Wall receiving the ball back with a 4 on 3 and Wall is one of the best playmakers in the league. He's going to get you an open 3 or a bucket to Zubac every time. A lot of point guards aren't big or strong enough to set those picks alot but wall is.

PG is also a good playmaker so he can hit Morris if wall isn't open. Pretty soon teams will stop trapping him sometimes and then PG can cook one on one. That's pretty genius by Lue

Us setting J-Wall against Reggie is silly and unnecessary. We're going to need them both and IMO our 48-minute point guard tandem is going to be the best in the NBA. Point guard is and will be a strength, not a problem.

Here's the problem right now as I see it:

    1) Our SIX worst two-man lineups--and 7 out of 10--have Norman Powell in them.

    2) Batum is in SIX of the rest of the bottom 12.

    3) T-Mann is in most of the rest.

About 25 of our 30 worst lineups have Powell, Batum or T-Mann in them. Ty is still keeping faith with them and giving them minutes hoping they'll come around. That's the story so far this year. Check for yourself.

ESPN is giving Utah 53.8% edge on winning tonight.

Clippers come out and take care of the ball and make majority of threes , they are in position to win this game.

Looks like Clarkson , Sexton and Markkanen score the bulk of their points.

Dallas had 60 points in the paint when they beat Utah a few nights ago.

Just need to control the glass, chase them off the three point line and avoid turnovers and the win will be ours.

The Lauri-Mook matchup is going to be entertaining as well, neither play defense, both love to shoot.

Can't have a second quarter slump against this team. Both teams hot on offense

I don't mind it, but Zu at 16 out of 18 minutes already? Nah, I know I wanna see him more but not like this.

PG is playing at MVP level right now but he needs help. Norman Powell especially, needs to get going.

Utah's record is no fluke. They got a bunch of guys can get you double figure scoring on any given night. No more ball hogging with Mitchell gone, always a fan of an underdog team overachieving.

Small ball just not going to work against them. The two bigs will put it on the floor and punish us.
