With Kawhi, PG and JW all back, good soldier Reggie finally gets a break

Clippers want to keep Wall as a role player coming off the bench, but because it's his former team, they're letting him start just this once. The fact that Jackson is resting this game is a mere coincidence; they were gonna have Wall start anyway at some point. Their plan is to have every player on the roster start at least once.

Clippers may be reeling on their Florida trip, but the one good silver lining this season has been the avoidance of ejections. All it takes is one ejection from any of their players, including their superstars in George or Leonard, and it's all over. They have yet to win a regular season game since the 2015-16 season when one of their players is ejected. And the Wizards might need something like this to steal a win and turn the tables on the same team who ended their playoff hopes prematurely by way of the second greatest comeback in NBA history.

defense came alive after that 0-10 start and really showed us the lockdown magic this team is capable of

not for nothing but we should pay attention to this lineup!

zubac batum kawhi pg wall

imo gives us the best balance of any lineup possible that this team can put on the floor. really want to see how it performs on defense, for sure.

Kuzma is such a nice piece to have on a team.

Morris is not a serious basketball player. 3 fouls in 6 minutes. Must have not really wanted to play today. Also Paul George playing hero ball again. Goes 1 on 3 in the fast break, looks foolish and gets swatted. Very on brand

It seems Clippers are a step too slow at everything compared to the Wizards.

Is this the reality or do they think they can just turn it on anytime ?

Or are they underestimating teams with losing records again ?

Zubac looking slow at everything . Offense is such a struggle and so is defense today.

this 5 wing lineup of batum/morris/pg/mann/kennard is really quite neat. game has completely turned around (though of course zubac and kp are conspicuously absent). just saying, being able to deploy a functional version of this is something i've been looking forward to for a good while.

and as i say that, they end with a luke 3 and take the lead!

PG is just so damn strong. Y’all realize how strong you have to be to have those strides and bump into defenders while still going forward and finish the shot?

Has also anyone noticed that he looks a little bulkier this year? He usually has the skinny look.

PG is listed at 6’8” 220lbs. He seems to have strong legs.

The defensive energy has picked up which is leading to fast break points and open threes.

Clippers half court offensive is rough.

kinda expected pg to bounce back with a big game and here he is, doing pretty much everything.
