Mann said they pick and choose when to play hard. Sounds like a select few entitled players who think they are the Durant era Warriors and can just win games by showing up.

We all can see the games and this is no surprise but hopefully, this team gets in gear and realizes their season is on the line from here on out.

Luka is a handful for every team in the league and especially against us. It all depends on how Kawhi approaches this tonight.
It's about time he goes totally selfish on offense and drops 40 on the Mavs.

We have stars who pick and choose when to play at all, guys like Reggie and Morris who act like they're entitled to minutes, and a "coach" who enables and rewards all of this, so yeah, not really breaking news.

Disagree.
Reggie and Sr are trying their best to compete every time they step on the floor.
Injuries are one of the main reason there's no consistency in our lineups or rotations or the way we play. At least these guys show up and take the floor without giving excuses. I agree that their play has not been stellar but where do you get the idea that Reggie and Sr feel "entitled" to minutes? Have you seen them come out angry when substituted?
It's not their fault that Lue refuses to play younger talent. If Lue asks them for minutes what are they supposed to say?
None of us have any inside knowledge as to how the coaching staff makes decisions.

Trezz and Pat Bev said the same thing 3 years ago.

I dunno about Senior but nobody accuses Reggie of loafing. The problem lately is he's trying to do too much.

As for PT, I think the idea is that we don't get Powell and Wall going, we're dead anyway. I still think RoCo's time will come but so far he's been a net negative in very few minutes. You also want to get more out of Kennard but between being injured a lot and trying to find a position for him--KL and PG get the lion's share of minutes at the 2 & 3--it's tough.

That +/- stat should come with some kind of warning. Sheesh.

If Norman and Wall were playing well, we'd be cruising. They're horrible.

Those are season totals. I've been using the Last 10 Games feature lately. Batum and Leonard are the only regulars above 0.0. In decreasing order, Paul George [!], Reggie, Powell, Senior and Wall, are all at minus-3.0 or worse.

Things are not good.

I'm surprised on the +/- on Powell I didn't know he was that bad.

Also looks like no PG again tonight unsurprisingly. He is more Glass than Kawhi. Needs a bionic hamstring.

Same starters as last game. Boston and Preston are available now after being listed out for g-league assignment.

Not sure why Diabate isn’t getting time? Save his games for the second half because of the 2-way limit?

like i know he's a gamer and there's a chance he said that to just not make things easier on his opponents but at this point i'm not giving him much benefit of the doubt

if not, then HOPEFULLY it's more coming from a place of "we're trying to make some trades but if we ever play 3-guard lineups it's only because we were forced to keep our roster the same"

which in itself is another problem but not as bad as "this idea is really actually good, guys, let's just keep trying it!"

At least Ty Belichick is sticking with Mann in the starting lineup, instead of putting Reggie Jackson back. I like to see Wall and Moses Brown play together more, they had some good chemistry this season.

What does ESPN know that we don’t? Their matchup predictor is giving us a 62.3% chance of winning the game.

Having a guard that attacks the rim is such a game changer for the starters

no idea but maybe as "contenders" start to veer off on bad losing streaks, the longer the streak the more likely it is to be broken? that's my guess

whereas if bad teams do that, the probabilities keep going down. who knows

mann handling the ball, coming over the top of the arc looking for an open guy, not finding it so he goes on to shoot an open 3

that? that i accept. that's what you're supposed to do
