Why this? What does Bally Sports have to do with Clippers? Law Murray answers:

Clippers "over-the-air" (digital) broadcasting could be without a home and thus be absorbed into another channel, or they could pull off a Pocos Pero Locos and go independent.

I read a little bit about this before the season started... sounded like that between NBA, MLB and NHL there are many dozens of franchises staring into the TV abyss ... and that one possibility would be that the 3 leagues might even team up to buy the network and operate it jointly.

But if its transformed into a revenue-share 3-league broadcaster and not an outside corp. direct-paying for rights to the teams... that could be real painful for some/most.
