according to 213 it looks like the trade's still pending so we'll be fairly short-handed
schedule loss incoming!

Why is Kawhi sitting out? Not a B2B sooooo what the heck? I hope he’s not injured or anything. Cause **** if so.

1. Leonard's DNP is simply rest. He is still taking care of his right knee:
Some people will surmise that since Ingles is playing, Leonard is sitting out for fear of him doing damage to his knee again. If he was afraid of Ingles, then why did he play vs. Bucks on February 2?
2. With Kevin Durant now part of the Suns, I will take over thread duties for the February 16 game.

Kawhi is being a little b. I'm tired of this BS.

That's ridiculous. There's load management and then there's showing up your own team just because you can. This is the latter.
Really losing my patience with our coddled stars who have won nothing at all in a Clippers uniform.

Bucks are on the 2nd night of a back to back, so they probably have some guys resting also. Why play if they are resting their top players also. Clips have several days off now before the next game.
Not having Reggie or Kennard just means that Covington and the young guys get more PT tonight.

We need every win we can get.

That's some BS, Kawhi hardly did anything on Tuesday against the Mavs. You are about to get a ton of rest soon with the all star break. That's just soft.

Not even upset about Leonard resting. He’s played in 15 of the last 17 games. The only two games he’s sat were b2b.
Lue has mentioned several times recently that he’s cutting the minutes of both Leonard and George heading into the all-star break. I’ll be curious to see if PG sits one of the next 2 games.

Just posted right now:
Is there a chance a divide's in progress?
If Clippers lose in playoffs again, we're getting a Raptors fix. A coach may be fired, and a superstar could be traded, especially if they were to get ejected from a game (DeRozan's ejection vs. Cavaliers on a Flagrant Foul 2 in 2018 NBA Playoffs prompted the Leonard trade).
Just for you: if you had to choose a coach, who would it be? Stipulation: must be a non-NBA coach.

honestly he has been playing quite a bit for someone coming off of an ACL. think it's not a fun situation but probably a somewhat necessary, and not unreasonable choice.

True, that 37 mpg was brutal. And Clippers needed every one of them.

He does sound sour on the moves doesn’t he? Weird considering Wall and Kennard were glued to the bench more than not. So he’s mad because he can’t use Jackson anymore even if it’s for the better of the team?

he probably has little say in this situation- the analytics department likely plays a big role

not really how i read it so i'd just say i think it's open to interpretation
he's generally pretty surly when asked the questions in the same vein over and over again so i could just as easily imagine that this was probably the umpteenth question asked about point guards. but who really knows, because he's certainly the one who overplayed reggie for the better part of 2+ seasons, only stashed him because he didn't seem to have much other choice with how bad reggie was, and then went back to overplaying him the moment reggie had one ok game (that he never would have been in if it weren't for injuries to other players).

Maybe PG needed the rest game too.
