These are to hopefully discourage the team from crapping all over the floor.

The +/- on Morris will be through the roof, playing with Kawhi and PG.

Worry about Kawhi and PG's plus/minus because if it doesn't improve we're going nofcknwhere.

We might be a play-in round exit and lose Kawhi and PG before it ever opens, but we got toilets.

That near Grizzlies loss which could have ended the season was just to save face. The real savior was the Clipper fans calling out the franchise for giving up. It's true that their losing history weighs heavily on their shoulders, but that doesn't mean they should succumb to it. Ironically, feeding on the negative converts to positive. I saw it on Twitter - when the world was writing its epitaph, Clippers absorbed it.

Fans, it's up to you. Write every negative thing you can think about to end the Clipper's season. No prayer circles, no all caps, no spirit bombs - nothing positive. Channel the anger, the hatred, the disgrace - make it so that you've given up on Clippers and are rooting for the enemy. Give them the fear of being down 3-0 in a playoff series. Scare them straight!

As for play-in, I wouldn't be surprised if Clippers miss the playoffs by one - but end up making it off of a technicality. Being the 10th seed might be the best thing for them - every game an elimination game, forcing them to take competition seriously. Clippers love the thrill, excitement and peril of a one-and-done. They're like Darkwing Duck:

Couldn't figure out how to get a jiff to work but insert charging Clippers spirit bomb. Does Google Images not work?

Clippers take care of business @home during this stretch and they are fine. We have 9 games remaining against the Western 4 -13 seeds.

OKC has a rough stretch with 10 games against the 4-13 seeds and 1 vs a Top 3 in the West
POR has 8 games against the 4-13 plus 5 games vs the Top 3 seeds of the conferences
Utah only has 5 games vs the 4-13, but has 6 games vs the Top 2 seeds of each conference
PHO has 8 games vs the 4-13 plus 4 games vs the WC Top 2 and 2 games vs the EC Top 3.
GS has 7 games vs the 4-13 plus 6 games vs the Top 3 seeds of the conferences
NOP has 10 games vs the 4-13 plus 3 vs the Top 3 in the West

Based on how the schedule was laying out, we blew a prime opportunity coming of the the AS break. We had a legitimate shot at getting to #2 in the West if we could have went on a winning streak vs a losing streak.

A 16 game winning streak heading into the post season is possible.

This, is how you vulture. Only rookies vulture per game. But this, is how you vulture the whole season. A great example of doom and gloom. Well played, sir!

I mean I can see what he means but Morris has fallen off defensively from even 2 seasons ago. He makes Zu work extra hard because he can't guard anyone. Healthy doesn't equal good.

Have to give Roco credit. I wouldn't have faulted him in requesting a trade. Maybe Morris has stayed in because Roco has had a better attitude about accepting his sacrifice vs Morris ruining the lockeroom if he had a reduced role.

It's just a shame others on the team have had to sacrifice with the depth, why can't Morris. He's a role player not a star. It's not like we are asking Kawhi and PG to take a seat.

He went on a heater from 3 in 2020-21 (47%!) but that won’t ever happen again, and as you say his D has fallen off as well.

I don’t know what to expect with this team anymore.

Hope for a win. Please.

The safest bet in sports for the last 40 years has been that the Clippers won't win the title lol. Why should I let the vultures have all the fun? But I promise I won't ruin tonight's game thread in the first quarter and call for the coach to be fired and somethingsomethingsomething Doc Rivers.

The priority is to work Westbrook in. If we don't, we're dead anyway. Working in Westbrook AND RoCo is asking for the moon AND the sun.

That's the reasoning, anyway. One miracle at a time.
