I know you all thought it: Did the Jets & Aaron Rodgers out-Clipper us?

Come on now, that entire scene was straight out of our playbook and the Lob City scrolls... but a whole lot worse! Getting the old washed up vet who's way past his expiration date and all the hype and expectations that comes with it. Bro ran out with the American flag on 9/11 and his Jets career was over in just four plays at the start of the game. WOW!! That was very very Very Clipper-esque -but on steroids.

I did think about the Clippers misfortunes. People have been talking about the Jets as the unluckiest pro sports franchise- they Clippers definitely have an argument over them though.

I think Rodgers may be able to comeback next season though- wouldn't count him out just yet

He misses next season as well with an torn achilles injury at his age. Its like an 18 month healing process. I think he's done

As a Packer fan that was happy that they finally dealt Rodgers, I felt the pain alongside Jets fans.

What would have really been Clipperesque is if Rodgers had stayed healthy all regular season and then went down like that on the opening drive of their first playoff game. And then their medical staff refused to say what the injury was until next year's training camp, while blowing smoke up the fanbase's collective ass about how he's "80%, 85%, 90% ready to play next season" in the meantime.

The Jets have a championship that at least some of their fans were alive to see, so that should remove them from the conversation.

Sticking with the Jets analogies: Morris is the Clippers' Zach Wilson, and Lue is like Saleh refusing to bench or stop making excuses for him.
