Coaches decision? I doubt it. That’s Lue’s favorite pet. Wish it meant a trade was imminent but that’s wishful thinking.

Maybe we’ll get an update on Mann tonight.

Curious to see the game plan for Wemby.

The turnovers are just awful.

Better energy and movement from the Utah game but those turnovers are momentum killers.

Lue needs to knock it off with both Leonard and PG on the bench together too.

I wonder what Lue is watching here? This team is starving for Leonard and/or PG to be in there.

I guess he was listening to you.

It also looks like Hyland + Powell is bleccch.

RoCo and Batum have done as well as you can hope for against Wemby.

Look for Wemby to be more aggressive in the second half. That’s been his deal in the other games.

Clippers need to clean up those turnovers and keep up the energy. This game is far from over.

I've seen a few games. He has skills, but so did Ralph Sampson, who was also 7'4". Sampson had a nice career, but not dominant. Not sure where Wemby fits.

Liking the Clippers' aggressiveness on both ends in the first half. Not a lot else, but it'll do for now.

Spurs are not putting a winning lineup out there. If they decided to try a little bit winning wise, they would have a proper PG in the starting lineup to organize things, get Wemby good looks, find everyone in the right spots. They have Sochan as starting point lol.

This is the response I wanted to see after the last game. Even though the Jazz had Holy water on the ball on some of those shots they hit at the end

You learn nothing by playing bad basketball. I watched 3 years of sub-.300 Sixers teams during "The Process." All they got out of it was Embiid, who dropped to 3rd in the draft because of injuries and took another 3 years to play his first NBA game. And the Sixers 4 years to have a winning season.

So weird that Popovich is willing to put up with this at age 74.

Why the starters have played the first 8 minutes of the 3rd quarter are still in with a 30-pt lead is a hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Ty may be sending a message. Kawhi seems bored.

This has been a great bounce-back performance. Last year, this game would have been an ugly rock fight.

Definitely a "welcome to the league" type of game for Wemby. He'll be great, but Kawhi/RoCo/Zu is a big step up from whoever he was facing in France.

I’d rather watch Miller over Coffey. Come on now.

Good dominating win after the Utah disappointment. Spurs cut into the lead a few times but the team was able to weather the storm and get things back on track.

Russ leading the team again in +/- with +30!

Roco was scoreless but had 3 boards, 3 assists, a steal and a block. With so much offensive firepower in starting lineup, I'm good with him not scoring but contributing everywhere else.

Clips held the Spurs to 38% while shooting 52%. Hope the momentum carries over to the next game against the Magic.

Coffey is still signed for 2 yr/$7.7M. He had the WORST plus/minus last year of ANY CLIPPER, including the G-Leaguers and John Wall.

Coffey always gave 100% here but he's one of the worst players in the league. Amir would be salary ballast in any trade and would probably be cut IMMEDIATELY by any team that acquired him. Ty playing him tonight was a sign of respect. Believe it or not, Amir Coffey is technically the 2nd or 3rd longest-tenured Clipper.

ZUBAC: February 7, 2019: Traded by the Los Angeles Lakers with Michael Beasley to the Los Angeles Clippers for Mike Muscala.
    COFFEY:July 9, 2019: Signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.
MANN: July 9, 2019: Signed a multi-year contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.

ok, bro, but what was his plus/minus?!?!

in all seriousness yeah def agree, good win to get. spurs over the years have been more than a nuisance to us despite us having superior firepower in many of our games. personally i can't deny i would have liked to have seen a more competitive game (just to see what wemby could do) but also because this team would be much better off cutting their teeth early on rather than later on

but hey, gotta be happy about pretty much any win the game after a tough loss!

Surprising effort. I saw so many times young team ala Grizzlies, Pelicans, Cavs plays with 2 athletic and physical bigs runs us out of games in 3rd quarter that I wasn't feeling good about this one with Wemby-Sochan-Zach trio. Surprising indeed.
