Back to backs, 3 games in 5 nights stretches are coming up. Looks like BBJ is ready. We can't play Kawhi & PG 40+ minutes a game in this schedule crunch. Does the kid get a few spot minutes? This was last night..

Clippers are starting to gain momentum and work their way up the standings. If they win tonight they will be tied with the Suns for 7th place. Then can start to chip away to get into the top 6 in the WEST and out of the play in.

He won't sniff the court on this team and will eventually be traded for a bag of Doritos.

"Downtown OnTARIO" Hearing that so many times was like hearing someone scratch a chalkboard.

If the game isn't close at the end, I'd like to see a lineup of Bones, BBJ, Coffey, Brown, and Diabate together for a few minutes. Probably won't look pretty, but would be interesting to see how a team full of Clips draft picks (excluding Bones) look.

He’s frustrated with his role and both sides are working to resolve the issue.

Stein reports that several contending teams are monitoring the situation.

It would be nice to trade him but what do we have to give up for a team to take him or what potentially worse contract we’d have to take back.

Hopefully we don’t waive him like Gordon for nothing.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but it's only G-League. Let's not get carried away. X Moon was just as good and he can't even get a real NBA contract.

Worst plus/minus by far on the Clippers--minus-9.2 per 100 possessions. Next-worst is Norman at minus-1.2, and he's been in the black lately. [Plus+4.0 over the last 9 games.]

PJ was given a chance to play himself out of the rotation and he did. But his hard-nose reputation might get him some interest out there.

Actually, a buyout is a smart move; I imagine the "work" getting done is figuring out a dollar amount. He's owed about $20 million for the remainder of this season and next (and, with our luxury tax position, will cost us more than that); he'd get $5.7 million on a vet minimum deal for that time. A $12 million buyout saves us a ton of money and opens up a roster spot; P.J. loses about 10% of what he would've made but can pick and choose his new team. Sounds like a win-win to me.

I don't see it that way. He's a wing who just turned 22 and still has potential and upside. All of our pics are nearly gone. Since this is BBJ's contract year- resign him to something like 2 years/$8 million and it'll be just like drafting a 1st round pick for us. Then see what happens.

Well you brought him up first in your initial post and mentioned how he scored 32 points. I guess it wasn't a "Debbie Downer" moment then until somebody else brings it up

Sorry. It was really more in response to the post about trading him away for trash, which I thought was gratuitous. Despite the legend, we still haven't had young talent slip away to somewhere else they've thrived. Shai is the only one, and we knew he was a prize, it was just the price of getting Kawhi and PG.

If the league really thought BBJ was a hot commodity, somebody would have made us an offer we couldn't refuse. I was doing the injury report and thought I'd mention he seems to be all healed up.

Blazers are terrible but it's great to see the old creaky Clippers outrunning a young team

Zu with 12 points already--Harden unlocked the key, get it to Zu [preferably above the waist] where he can handle the pass and take it to the hole

Mann just had a nice assist with that too

of course the TBs don't really have a center out there but still
