After a nice little scrimmage against those youthful Blazers, looking forward to another relaxing win against the friendly Kings.

I don't think people realize how much Zu and the backup C position impact the overall success of this team. If the C position is producing Pts, Rbs and Blks, then we are winning most of those games. If we can get 20/20/3 consistently from the C position, we aren't going to lose much.

We are 6-4 in games where Zu has multiple blocks (3-1 when he has more than 2 blocks). He has also produced double digit pts in 8 of those 10 games (6-2). Oddly, we are only 4-4 in games where he has a double-double. He has 1 or less blocks in 5 of those games.

After losing most of them to open the season, Zu won another opening tip! What's getting into him lately?? :D

And then Mann drains a 3. Watch tf out if those two ever get going...

32-24 after one. Not that impressive but the Sacs are only in it because Fox stuck some threes.

Some of our best basketball this year. The Kings are a good team but we're just grinding it out on both ends. Kawhi is engaged, and everybody is all business. Boring is good.
______________
ADD: Ty continues to feed the rookie minutes and Tucker remains DNP-CD.

Kobe for THREEEEEEEEEEEEE!
_______________________

MORE ADD: Ty playing with fire again with Westbrook and Beard out there on the floor together again, a combo that statistically is like minus-1000 per 100 possessions.

But if Ty can't make it work it means burying Russ, which would be ugly after he signed here for the near-minimum.

So far so good.

Energy higher than I expected. Good to get contributions from others.

Still can’t believe we got Theis. Fits so perfectly for us.

what i truly wonder about is how lue will deploy theis once plumlee comes back. i mean he can man up pretty hard for us at the 4, right? because that could be a truly useful piece that lets this team do a lot of very nice things.

Didn't like the way we closed the half after the big lead. Alot of game left to play.

Best first half I have seen from the Clippers in a couple years. They were very active especially Kawhi on the defensive end.

With a new purpose--renewed?--it looked like. I still say it's all on Kawhi. Your best player sets the tone, calls the shots. I suppose there's an exception or two but there's not one champion whose best player wasn't the bell ringer.

And Don McLean agrees with me. Our best basketball so far this season.

Any word on if PG’s injury serious or just precautionary? I have the Kings feed.

I wouldnt have started Powell. I would have started Brown. Keep the second unit the same.

The ESPN link is showing X Moon in uniform and on the bench tonight. No doubt a reward for putting up 31 points in G-League the other night?

FTR--BBJ put up 34 in the same game, but is listed as OUT [illness] tonight.

Groin soreness. Not serious but he’s out the rest of the game

Would have been the perfect game for Boston with the George injury to get some minutes

Kawhi-to-Zu for two!

The pass was taken above the waist and Zu took it home! BAM, MFer!

Read on Twitter

Beard is teaching the Clips how to get the ball to Zu. He only has hands of stone when you put it where he can't do anything with it.

They need to be running everything through Leonard right now.
