if the Clippers win their NINTH in a row and the Kings lose to the Celtics, the Clippers jump into the 4 seed!

Paul George is QUESTIONABLE [illness]

Clippers and Mavs tied for 5th in West... and guess who is a 3.5 favorite tomorrow/Wednesday??? Yup, the team about to hit NINE in a row. Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing the gelled LA Clippers. Yes, love the note that a win plus a probable Kings loss puts us in freakin' 4th in West... a reachable 4 games back from 1st place.
My over-under for Doncic flops is 6, whines about foul calls/non-calls 11.

I like this matchup. Any team that’s weak on the inside we can exploit with the new version of Zu fed by Harden. Put Mann, Kawhi, PG (or Coffee if he’s out) on Doncic to make him work for everything. Keep up the defense & we got this!

When the team is playing well enough for Kawhi to sit 4th quarters, then he should be all smiles.

Remember this?Same guy ejected Jokic in similar shady fashion about a week ago. Dude's been handing out techs like candy and has seemingly been on a break from officiating ever since then.

Long time Clipper fan here (since the Danny Manning days). I think this is a totally winnable game and must have since the B2B tomorrow is gonna be brutal and then Sat (noon game) we get Boston. As long as they keep playing D first and stay away from small ball, we should be able to take this down. Hope PG plays and everyone stays healthy, go Clip Joint!

Thank you! I have been watching this forum for some time, mostly for the cathartic reasons

. Let's go Clips, best I've seen them play in years!

Possibly no PG or Powell due to illness would be a big blow.

https://www.spotrac.com/nba/fines-suspensions/fines/ejection/Already half of the league has a team with at least one ejection to a player. Last season, Clippers did not get an ejection until the fifth month (February 2023) of the season with Morris, who is no stranger to early tosses. The big one happened a month later (March), which of course was by the Clipper's beloved savior Terance Mann. Morris's ejection made the Clippers the 22nd team to have an ejection last year.
Staying away from ejections has been the only check the Clippers were able to mark off this year. Under Leonard, they are a Good Samaritan Spurs team who plays for the good of basketball, capable of tuning out distractions and avoiding confrontations. Not a single superstar has ever gotten tossed under the Leonard-George era, and that's despite having three superstars with previous history (George, Westbrook, Harden). They actually need to have a clean record because a single ejection could end up having the power to end this Clippers season prematurely, and given they're under the hugest of microscopes with that Ultimatum "Killer Kombat" season where all their superstars could be taken away from them, they absolutely have to be on their best behavior.
And they've done just that. They'll fail every other job, but at least they're good at keeping a clean profile. Even with techs and a flagrant foul in their work summary.

This game will also be the head-to-head tiebreaker for playoff seeding. Each team has won one game at home and will not play each other again in the regular season.

amir is playing really well right now. smart move by lue to integrate him over kobe brown over the past few games.
i still wish amir would a ton of time working on making one singular aspect of his game really, really good, but simply being a serviceable wing who can do a bit of everything is still great value.

strong defense ending in the shot clock violation. pretty darn good considering it was just kawhi and a buncha backups.

wow
another defensive stand where multiple players were all over the place in pretty much all the right spots. which, is kinda already really good if you're talking about your core players. but when it's your second line that's getting it right? whew!

Luka with a super rare slow start against us. Hopefully he's not saving it for the 4th.
