Grizzlies rested against Denver so they can go for the win against us. Apparently we're -7.5 favorites, but I'm not feeling as confident.

Kawhi better be back sooner rather than later, because the next month is looking tough. He'll probably need at least a few games to get back into rhythm, so .500 ball might be the best we can expect in the next two weeks.

Sat, 12/30 vs MEM
Tue, 1/2 vs MIA
Thu, 1/4 @ PHX
Sat, 1/6 @ NO
Mon, 1/8 @ LAL
Tue, 1/9 vs PHX
Thu, 1/11 vs TOR
Sat, 1/13 @ MEM
Mon, 1/15 @ MIN
Wed, 1/17 vs OKC
Sun, 1/21 vs BKN
Wed, 1/24 vs LAL
Sat, 1/27 @ TOR
Sun, 1/28 @ BOS
Tue, 1/30 @ CLE

Hoping for a strong second half of the month, with everyone healthy and clicking together. A lot could be riding on that homestand against OKC, Brooklyn and Lakers, with plenty of rest between games.

I'm holding on to a champagne bottle after New Year and popping it at the end of January if we are better than 8-7.

Looks like Morant will be well rested for tonight's game since he was DNP last night against the Nuggets. Great, and no Leonard for another game. My guess is the Clippers are going to need another huge game from Harden tonight to have a chance for a win.

How much longer are they gonna list Kawhi as questionable before making the surgery announcement?

This is the same old story every time they start playing well. Even the jokers on AM710 were saying "It's the Clippers something bad is going to happen or someone is going to get hurt" when they had won 8 or 9 straight. I have no doubt this dude is done for year now :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

So much for Kawhi saying "I'm good"

Really tired of Kawhi missing games and the whole process where he ends up missing half the season. He needs to tough it out a bit.

ESPN giving the Clippers an 83% probability of winning tonight.

They show Ja Morant out with illness.

Hoping for a win tonight. First game I’ll watch in the last week or so. My mom passed away on Wednesday so not much can upset me more than that. Thankful we were able to bring her home and take care of her the way she wanted. Hug your loved ones close.

As for the Leonard thing. It is obnoxious. His last two injuries were at the end so they kept it secret until it was over. They can’t do that this time. I don’t think they’ve gone so far as to say he’s practicing either. At most rehab around the clock. I don’t think it’s season ending but be like other teams and just say he’ll be reevaluated in a week or whatever. Oh well.

Kawhi is literally a 30 game a year guy now. When the team's entire testicular fortitude rests on a guy this unreliable it's a recipe for endless frustration. Time to start being up front and quit playing games about this guy and his injuries. I'm good = I'm out for the year.

Why not just say that from the start? Why take a week? And dint they mention he was going to practice yesterday?

Sorry to hear about your mom. Prayers for you and your family during your time of mourning.

I don't appreciate how secretive and dishonest this org is with Kawhi's injuries. Playoffs I kind of get but this is the regular season why not just be straight up like 95% of everyone else.

kobe brown was excellent in his minutes. one really smart defensive play where he zoomed in right under the basket to cover for a very open big, a great block not too long after that, and 5 points as the last option at the end of the clock
