No rest for the weary. First game back from a road trip is always a bit of a trap because you're so busy unpacking and catching up with family matters. Mentally you're still totally not home yet.
Best offenses in the league since December 1st, removing garbage time:
(Points per 100 possessions)
1. Clippers – 127.1
2. Celtics – 123.6
T3. Bucks – 122.4
T3. Thunder – 122.4
5. Knicks – 121.8
surprise, surprise

Since Dec 1, Clips have only lost to OKC, BOS, LOL, MIN and CLE.
Over the Clips last 10 games, they have only lost to CLE who are 14-1 over their last 15. CLE's only loss was on the road to Milwaukee (Interim coach).

Kinda feels like Kawhi is on a personal mission. Pels can be a tough team to beat. I’m going with Kawhi. Clippers win.

Clips #1 by percentage tonight. Can be alone with win tomorrow. Thunder, Wolves and Nuggets all off tomorrow.
Clips will be motivated. No time for a post trip let down. Time to seize the moment. #1 seed in NBA is now the target.

Clips are 6.5 favorites. Pels have won 3 in a row. Time to end that little streak.

Ingram has been on fire lately and he always torches us. Lue needs to find a way to slow him down. If we can do that, it should not be a difficult win.

Pels on 3 game winning streak, but you have to dig deeper.
Since the In-Season Tourney, they have played 27 games. They are 17-10. They are 3-5 against the current top 4 in each conference. Two of those wins against Minny and 1 against a Cleveland team that was much different in December.
Over that same stretch, they are 9-3 against sub .500 teams and 5-3 vs the current 5 through 10 teams in the West.
They are 5-5 in their last 10 while not beating a single team currently above .500.
Clips should be super motivated to take control of the West by themselves with just DET, MIN and @GS remaining before the break.
Clips separation opportunities before the break:
TWolves started 5 game road trip last night by losing then have Milwaukee and us before a double road trip to the Overdose capital.
OKC @Dal, vs Sac and @Orlando
DEN @LOL, @SAC, @MIL

Cautiously optimistic about this one. With Kawhi now being included in MVP discussions and the team playing in a groove (with Lue reminding them that they still need to get better), I can see them pulling out another win.
Need to watch out for Valanciunas though... That guy always channels his inner Steph when he plays the Clips...

Gotta say I'm worried about this one. It's like we are still on the road trip since we are playing on 1 days rest. The squad put up 148 points and will be due for some kind of let down. Hoping the same happens to the PELS since they scored 130+ and Nanji and Zion are GTD. Let's go!

I know we won the last game but they’re a nightmare matchup for us.
Get the win and stay healthy.

Night. Maybe they’ll come back but I’d rather read about it and save my frustration watching now.

Team is gassed from the Grammy Trip. Should've at least had another day off

If we get these guys in the playoffs it's a quick exit.
