Everyone's playing. For one reason, and one reason only: avoid losing three games to Wolves. Losing the season series means their opponent will have a psychological edge so powerful, they'll be able to sweep the Clippers out of the playoffs should they meet.
Tying the series ensures nobody gets a psychological advantage. Clippers have always been about getting even if they can't dominate.
I also believe the fine Gobert got for calling the league's officials out for game rigging may also play a part here. Referees may actually call games against Minnesota as payback, might even look to get Gobert tossed from a game. Clippers are 2-0 when they draw an ejection on an opponent, and 1-0 when one of their own gets tossed. Ejections may play a huge factor here if it comes to it.
For all that, I'm sensing an automatic win for the Clippers tonight.
