Home again and thank God NOT a matinee at the Crypt

Hawks' record sucks but they're clinging to the last play-in spot in the East so they won't lay down

Russ still gives the team some juice, even at his age.

If we’re gonna make a late season stand, it better start tonight.

An Unusual Trap Game

The players out:

- Trae Young (role star)
- Onyeka Okongwu (role player)
- Saddiq Bey (role player)
- AJ Griffin (sophomore)
- Kobe Bufkin (rookie)
- Seth Lundy (rookie)
- Mouhamed Gueye (rookie)

The Hawks roster is filled with a role star (Dejounte Murray), a role starter (Clint Capela), a role player (De'Andre Hunter), and a veteran in the twilight of his career (Wesley Matthews). Not only would I keep an eye on Matthews, they have to be vigilant against the no-namers; Clippers have a tendency of turning rookies and scrubs into All-Stars for a day.

OG, remember when you said to me that relying on the outlier spirit is a bad thing? Given that the Hawks have always played .500 ever since they drafted Young, well, today might be a case study on that claim. Of all the trap games Clippers had to face, this might be the toughest one. Their win over them could knock Hawks out of the playoffs, but a loss to them could save Atlanta's season. Clippers have difficulty dealing with lottery teams, always playing down to their competition in hopes of brightening up their mediocre season. They cannot let their personal emotions get in the way of business. Let's hope Clippers take them seriously as if they're a title contender threat than another cakewalk that is beneath them because of their current standing.

The Clippers haven’t taken advantage of key stretches or wake up calls so I don’t expect it to start tonight.

Thank goodness for Leonard. How ugly would it be without him tonight?

Nothing wrong with this team right?

Why is Harden playing tonight?

Lue can’t even crack the Hawks code.

Sit Harden and give him the week off. He's not right.

Same old story. Getting all their shots blocked, getting dunked on, giving up offensive rebounds, clanking 3s and a mountain of turnovers. I swear this team can't score on anything other than a 3. The answer? GO SMALL! Bring in PJ, shoot Mohr 3s. One dimensional team. Of course they can get hot and save this one. So far painful to watch :banghead: :banghead:

I can easily see this team limping into the playoffs as the 8th seed or worse. Team has been playing mediocre basketball for a while now.

this team has the worst body language of any team i have seen. Not one of these players really gives a .... No effort, sleep walking, Harden is atrocious. PG just jacking up shots. Now Kawhi is too. No one gets into the paint to breakdown the defense. Zu is a stiff on defense

Fans should be required to boo **** effort. I regularly boo my own team when they suck. Nobody is giving fans a refund for having to sit through a **** performance.

KL + PG are 14-32

the rest of the team is 5-for-28
