Vogel's Firing Equals Clipper's Hiring? A Discussion, Not A Rumor

With the firing of Vogel, he's now available. But as a coaching assistant? Well, look at what Clipper fans have to say...
No, that's not the real reason. Yes, he is a defensive minded coach, but being behind Lue means having a lesser say. It would be like Terry Stotts to Adrian Griffin of the Bucks, who wanted Doc Rivers all along and was using the two as smokescreen.
This is the real reason Clippers may go after Frank...
Yeah, Vogel once coached George back in the Pacers. Being reunited with his former coach may be the thing that entices George to re-sign with the Clippers and avoid a forced rebuild. But still, they're forced to compete.
Because there hasn't been any real news reports on this, I cannot call this a rumor. Besides, real Clipper fans would rather prefer someone brand new and up-and-coming, a coach nobody has ever heard of before, or an assistant who is ready to take the next step; whereas the Clippers want somebody familiar in a "we-can't-lose" sense because they don't want to lose their fans, be irrelevant, and compared to the Sterling era again. It's merely a discussion.
Would you welcome Vogel on the Clippers knowing that George would re-sign because of being reunited with his former coach?
