NOTE TIME: 2PM?? Clippers on the front end of a ROAD b2b [@GSW on Sunday]?

A CRUCIAL game in October?

Nuggets gotta be stoked for their home opener after getting blown out at OKC 102-87 on Thursday. Led [?] by Russell Westbrook's 2-10 FGs/minus-23, DEN's bench was a disaster, finishing 5-27 FGs.

CRUCIAL!

This is a winnable game if we can knock down some shots. Denver's bench is awful

Clippers defense needs to focus on making life hell for Murray and MPJ on offense. They can sag off of Westbrook and double one of the other Nuggets players like the Thunder did to them.

I'm already getting worried that KPJ is going to be Lue's new Morris/PJ.

Yah that's why I posted this thread last night. Otherwise I was gonna let Clipp do it.

Glad I was able to catch the last 3 mins. Great win, feels like it's been a while since we beat a quality team in a close game. Will be watching the replays later.

A 24 year old who has not yet reached his NBA peak isn't really a bad guy to be a coaches pet. He's the 6th youngest player on the team and the only similar age guy who could possibly get more minutes is Hyland.

Zubac has stepped up with the increased minutes so far, it's awesome.

Also Westbrook with a great revenge game

I thought one of the youngsters would supplant Norm, but nope. F*ck it! In Norm we trust! I gave KPJ the benefit of the doubt with rust and all, but he's been flat out awful in preseason and these first two games. He better show something soon cause Jordan Miller is patiently waiting to take his spot. Mann needs to sit too. Kai probably gets more run tomorrow against the Warriors. Good game from Zu. Harden was solid. Just trying to see who's the guy that going to score. I guess Norm is that guy. We should be 2-0.

I'll give KPJ 10 games. Dunn is such a solid pickup. Harden will probably lead the league in both assists and TOs this year.

Big needed win

Harden/Zu/Norm living up to their expectations well

KPJ not worried about.. its early, new team, back in the league after a couple seasons.. I think he'll come around.. if he doesn't soon, I see Jordan Miller getting a chance. Still on the KPJ train till he's out of the rotation : )

Good stuff from Kris Dunn again.. brings a new element to the team overall.

Rough, rough game from Russ' .. he doesn't have the same blend and flexibility on Denver's roster as he did with LAC.

Dunn had the sneaky-good stats. 4th leading scorer [11], 3-5 from distance, 6 rebs and a plus+8.

He's already washed out of two other teams due to attitude problems and just not being a very good player. We have Jordan Miller warming the bench instead of getting the minutes he needs to develop, and we're stuck watching KPJ chuck his way to 1-8 and 2-10 shooting performances while contributing very little in any other part of the game. It just gets tiresome having stubborn coaches who refuse to make the obvious decisions.

If kpj keeps playing like this over the next 5-10 games, you can make that claim. Anybody can have 2 bad games. If he continues on this trend for a while longer, then I agree- adjustments should be made

THIS is getting tiresome. At least do some research. I'm all for giving Jordan Miller his chance when it comes--and it will--but Kevin Porter Jr has ALREADY achieved more in the NBA than Jordan probably ever will, and he's YOUNGER. FOUR YEARS of NBA experience while Jordan has barely touched the floor.

15.3 ppg [volume scorer]
4.3 rpg [great for a SG]
5.0 apg [great for a SG]

C'mon, people. This is as good a bet as they come. This isn't some G-Leaguer or Euroleaguer. This is a PROVEN NBA scorer, which is JUST what we need.

Seriously- I can’t believe how bad their bench is. They basically have no solid players. I appreciated Westbrook’s effort when he was on the clippers, but I’m very happy he’s gone

Patiently waiting for the KPJ breakout game. I know he is a scorer, but he looks pretty bad in every other facet of the game. So, he needs to start putting the ball in the hoop at least when he is on the floor.

This time it may not be on coaches to pull the strings. Kpj went to same high school with Ballmer jr so Steve knew him way before he made it to the league and have kind of influence on him. Wouldn't suprise me if it's Steve Ballmer to tell Clippers FO to invite KPJ to the team for his 2nd change. Lue might just playing him enough to showcase boss he's not that good without arguing him.
