I'll get excited about this team again if we win tonight. Stifle them with that Van Gundy press and feed Zu and Norm. How much does Harden play on this front end of a back to back is the question.

Yes, it's difficult to get excited, I agree. The problem with our young, middling team is that they're not that young and middling is their ceiling. I think our goal is respectable--the wins enjoyable and the losses hard-fought. And if/when Kawhi makes it back, a coherent rotation capable of some thrilling upsets.

KPJ being awful again. We are approaching the 10 game mark I hope Ty Lue start giving Bones a shot.

I'm going to take this opportunity to vindicate myself. At the half he has two lousy points but a team-best plus+14. Let him be.

Easy there, Mike Smith. KPJ averaged 17 ppg over a three-year period and BBJ has been doing it for a little over a week.

ADD MANN: 22 minutes, 0-4, 2 points, 5 rebs 3 assts, PLUS+17
Let him be, lol. As long as that last number is better than all the others. Clips by 14. And don't tell me Ty don't know how to coach. All you can do is put your boys in position to win. The rest is up to them now.

I know what you mean but the rebs, assists and plus/minus have all been decent so far this year. I think he's been VERY conscious of not playing scatterass and being a liability to the team. His personal troubles may have matured him up right quick.
He's already hit rock-bottom at age 23. Not too many people get a slap in the face from the universe so early in life.

Damn, I wish I knew how this man's brain works. He plays the 1st quarter like it's a pick-up game and it's great. But then he plays the 4th quarter like it's a pickup game and we're all like WTF, dude

I turned it on right at the start of the Kings run, but we got Lawler’s Law on our side now.

I didn’t see the goods and the bads of the game, but man another nice win for this squad.
Also, after 9 games we are tied with Houston. Looking good if we can get Kawhi back at some point.

Nice response when the lead was cut to 4. Coffey finishing games instead of Mann, can he also take Mann's starting job?

Norm is an All Star, Zucoin is going up, DJJ is a hell of a pickup, Coffey was strong, and KPJ is turning the corner, wow!!

Solid win. Powell is awesome. I know the sentiment is this team lacks star talent for a deep run. But when Kawhi is healthy … I mean .. there is a chance
