Very businesslike win, slowly pulling away. Of course with Luka and Kyrie out, hard to :onfire:

Final
1 2 3 4 T
LAC 24 26 39 29 118
DAL 30 19 28 18 95

Are we getting spoiled???

Let's do it again on Saturday. One of those weird scheduling home/home/2 consecutive games in the same arena I think they started in the COVID era.

Norm-Zu-Harden got my votes for the all-star game. It just started voting.

Since this thread is quiet, I'll stick this here. I had to double-check--these are their REAL numbers

Good win. Looking at some recent highlights of Zu, love how he's bringing that 90's-00's bully ball back. A few Shaq-esque moves.

Would be great if they beat them again on Saturday.

Are we assuming that DJJ will be one heading to the bench if Klaw ever gets ramped up?

If everyone were healthy and Klaw was starting, would you put TMann outside your best 5-man 2nd unit (KPJ, Coffey, DJJ, Batum, Bamba?)

Won a game we were supposed to win with Luka and Kyrie out. Norm, Harden, Zu, and DJJ balled out! Sure would love to see Bones get the backup guard minutes as opposed to KPJ. The team can cover his defensive shortcomings. I thought KPJ would at least be serviceable by now. But whatever. Dallas again tomorrow

Nobody's really jumping out between DJJ, KPJ, and Coffey. Each is contributing some nights, not so much on others. Ty will just keep spinning the Wheel of Fortune, and although Bones got a DNP-CD last night, he's out of the doghouse anyway.

The best thing we could get from Mann is that as a long-time Clipper, he steps up as a leader of the second unit, which is NOT good so far. These guys are complete strangers to each other except Batum and Mann, and come the playoffs, Batum might be the one to close with KL-Beard-Zu-Powell. Ty is keeping his minutes down [18.2], which is good. He'll be needed.

Great point about Batum- while others fight to earn more minutes, the better Batum plays the more we probably want to conserve and keep him fresh to last the whole year (obviously we will also be trying to keep Kawhi healthy for entire year too.)

The rest have been sort of a grab bag, which is not horrible TBH. It's depth, and on the whole we play hard and usually one or two of those guys will hit some shots or otherwise make some positive contributions each game. I think having a top tier PG (point guard of course, not Paul George  ) enables that. We are basically a weak chain team playing in a strong chain sport, but that depth will still be there if/when we get Kawhi back rolling.

I think KPJ is more likely the odd man out when Kawhi is back. He is a wildcard, and throwing a little chaos into the mix I think helps us right now. But if Kawhi and James are both healthy and starting, we're gonna want DJJ or Amir on the floor with them instead. I'm thinking James/Norm/Kawhi/DJJ/Zu or James/Dunn/Kawhi/DJJ/Zu are both great line ups, just depends on whether you are looking for scoring or to up the defensive intensity.

Good win to get with a few of the losses earlier in the month.. wonder if Luka/Kyrie are both out again next time
