What a meltdown before the half. Yikes.

Coffey is working his tail off. Give the man a raise.

This team plays so hard and never gives up. Even if it’s a loss it’s refreshing to watch.

They made some backbreaking 3’s. Ouch. On to the next.

I think we’re all in agreement that we’ll live and die with those shots, and our effort clawing back. We made Ant take a couple of long 3’s and he hit them, hats off to him.

We almost hit Lawler’s Law when Zu had the ball under the basket, but then the Wolves got it on their 3.

And why is Kawhi not playing in the 4th? I understand the minute restriction, but you need to manage his mins in a smarter way.

That one hurt but at least they played really hard. That out of bounds call KPJ deflected that went off Gobert should have been ours. There were some other calls that were questionable in this game. Whatever. On to the next. When Kawhi gets his mojo back we will be good.

I think they are being very conservative. The 4th quarter was really physical.

We're a play-in team at best if Lue doesn't pull his head out of his ass and stop playing KPJ. I'm so tired of always having a coach who makes the worst player on the team his favorite and refuses to ever make even the lowest-hanging-fruit adjustments.

the problem is they basically have nobody that can handle the ball besides Harden. I agree, KPJ is a poor back up, but they don't really have anybody else that can play that role. I would love it if they could somehow get Collin Sexton- he would fit that role perfectly.

the calls were very suspect- several against Harden and the one against Gobert that they refused to review.

The NFL is so much faster to make rules adjustments than the NBA- the NFL now has expedited reviews for simple things that can be reversed right away- such as that out of bound play you mentioned or an egregious elbow being thrown. Silver really has dropped the ball in that regard.

Can't stand KPJ from day one. He's kind of a poor man's LaMelo Ball. Flashy and capable of putting up the numbers, but incapable of playing winning basketball.

Also let's not forget the backup 5 issue. Sadly at this point I would rather have Mason Plumlee back instead of Bamba/Kai Jones.

Kris Dunn is not doing it for us. Need to start Derrick Jones instead. Or Coffey honestly.

If Kawhi is going to be on minutes restriction and raw, bring him off the bench for 15-20min per game.
Start Harden-Norm-Coffey-Jones Jr-Zu

It is what it is. This team has to learn to win without Kawhi. And mostly it has.

You put Kawi back in and we win. But you can't lean on him. This is not how that is gonna go down.

I'm sick of losing to Minnesota. I wanted this game badly! Is Bamba out of the rotation? Back to small ball? :banghead: Kawhi's on a minute restriction but we used his minutes up in the first half? :banghead: KPJ's minutes :banghead: Norm, Zu, and Harden were solid. Dunn and DJJ are great defensively but can't shoot for sh*t. We need another shooter in the mix badly. On to Denver

Backup ball handler is the biggest issue for sure. Problem is it’s really hard to find one that can actually set up an offense once down the court. That’s exactly what teams game for by doubling Harden in the 4th. So many other teams have point guard issues. Look at Philly. Maxey is struggling as an playmaker and their backup of Lowry is so bad they can hardly play him, but they have nothing else. I agree Sexton would be a huge upgrade, is he even available?

I read a rumor from a credible source (forget which exact one) a few weeks ago that stated Utah is interested in trading him- the Clippers may not have much to offer them though

I noticed Terrance Mann only played 10 minutes. Did not know he had minutes restriction or maybe Ty Lue just did not play him?
I am on the edge of my seat when I see Kawhi jump up for a rebound or to contest a shot - because I fear he will land wrong and injure himself.

Clippers had a chance to win it but fell apart in the closing minutes. Overall , Minnesota looked like the team with more energy and desire to win.
