Just rest Harden. Gonna be a 30pt blowout either way.

Detroit is 6th in the East and 8-2 in their last 10... fun mix of kids and vet. shooters.

This offense is so ugly all you can do is laugh. We’re lucky to only be down 6.

There's literally zero reason to play Patty Mills over Jordan Miller or even Cam Christie.

Mills providing some much needed energy.

Ball movement is beautiful with Harden on the bench.

There is no reason not to win every game we can. First, to maintain a winning culture, secondly to try to finish ahead of Houston and keep our draft position.

It's unfair to saddle our regulars like Zu who bust ass every night with guys who have not earned more burn. Losing gains us nothing.

ADD: Miller and Christie do not appear to be suited up or even with the team.

Clips crawl back from 12 down to 89-85

I much prefer this to surrendering early

Bogi [4-14, 0-8] has been ass since he got there though

and how can Eubanks be minus-17 in only 11 minutes? :o

ADD: oh well

Bogi finishes 6-19, 1-12

hopefully getting it out of his system

They compete I’ll give them that. But it’s frustrating knowing they’ll be a play in team again.

It’ll piss me off if they’re resting guys so they can treat the Lakers games as championship ones.

Yikes, Bogi is making Harden looks like Steph Curry with his horrific shooting...

Harden is truly cursed, everywhere he teams up with stars, they eventually get injured leaving him in a crappy situation. Hopefully Norm isn't out for too long.

And I could definitely use some KPJ shimmies right about now...

If Kawhi and Norm are out for an extended period of time bring in the G Leaguers! I can't watch Eubanks, Bogdan, Patty Mills, Ben Simmons, ice cold Coffey, Batum, and Dunn(outside of his defense) play. Mann and KPJ didn't die "Clipper deaths" for this! Sign Miller to a standard NBA deal. Play Beauchamp. Give Kobe his sink or swim moment like they did KPJ. Bring Cam Christie, Kai Jones, and Flowers up for the 2nd and 3rd units. Just give me a reason to watch this sh*t show of a team! What a joke! Its not just bad basketball, its bad television, period!

We were in this one most of the way. The Sixers just lost by 32 to the Bulls. That's not the way. THAT's bad basketball and the Sixers org is in freefall. And the fans are staying away in droves. They've fallen off the map in Philly.

Frankly, with the Clippers sputtering and the Lakers grabbing the spotlight with Luka, the Laker game IS of high importance for Ballmerville now.

This team is a disaster. I sure am glad our genius GM, whose job security will apparently never even be questioned, made our roster older and slower again at the deadline.

without Powell and Kawhi, they have to be the worst 3 point shooting team in the NBA- even Kawhi has been struggling too. Bogdan can't shoot any more- hard to believe that such a solid shooter really has lost his touch, but stats don't lie

I suppose that's why they went for Bogi, a career 38%...and frankly dumped off T-Mann, whose $16M/yr for 3 years doesn't kick in until next year. So far in ATL, he's had 2 good games and 3 meh ones. Mann has nice percentages, but no volume. Bogi is not shy.

We need shooting, and T-Mann just won't shoot when he should--which screws up the entire rhythm of the offense. Bizarrely--although not--despite his 1-12 from distance tonight, Bogi was still a plus+4. Although he could have won it for us with a decent shooting night, he didn't lose us the game.

A disappointing loss but we started Batum, Dunn and Zu, none of whom can initiate their own offense. Bogi was the right call, but once again we sent out a pickup team that had never played an NBA minute together. Even worse was our bench, with no true scorers whatsoever

Eubanks minus-17
Coffey minus-12
Mills minus-11
DJJ minus-9

...and Beard playing too many minutes again [39] at a clusterf*ck minus-22 trying to hold it all together.

Hey, the Pistons were at home on their longest winning streak in 10 years. We were missing our top 2 players, and Simmons, who not only is expected to be in the core 8 of the playoff rotation, he's expected to be the small ball 5 instead of Eubanks, who is already looking unplayable and statistically, was most responsible for the loss tonight.

Minus-17 in only 11 minutes? Plus/minus isn't everything, but when you're the worst, there's nobody below you to blame it on.

as they continue to tumble down in the standings, at some point guys have to play with nagging ailments- don't know how severe Powell's knee issue is, but Kawhi needs to play in Chicago if it is just his foot bothering him a bit. Simmons also should not be resting back to backs- they need to win now.

They hung in there and had a chance to steal a win in the 4th when they got several defensive stops but just could not make a shot.

We do not want this.

There was garbage time as far as the eye can see Monday night at Wells Fargo Center.

The Sixers’ 32-point margin of defeat against the Bulls was flattering. They trailed by as many as 50 in their eighth consecutive loss, allowed 142 points and plummeted to 20-37 this season. Chicago snapped a six-game skid and improved to 23-35.

Nothing about the night suggested that, with better health and luck, everything may eventually click into place.

Paul George acknowledged as much in the locker room.

“Regardless of who’s playing, who’s not playing, to have (aspirations) or for this group to believe we can be … not even to get to the playoffs, but to make a push toward it … we’ve shown no signs of a team that will compete,” George said. “We just don’t have the habits of a champion or that a playoff-contending team would have.

“So to be honest right now, it’s a little far-fetched. All we can do is work hard, try to just keep going for one another, but we’ve shown no signs of — forget championship, but a playoff-contending team here.”

Indeed, the Sixers’ outing made it very logical to think more about draft lottery odds and the team’s top-six protected first-round pick than any sort of potential play-in tournament exploits.

    ...

Of course, head coach Nick Nurse’s postgame message to the Sixers didn’t revolve around sophisticated strategies.

“I just said there’s a lot of games left and we’ve got to be professional,” he said. “We’ve got to go out and play. First of all, everybody needs to look at themselves and what they can do better, and then look at what they can do better for the team. And do our jobs, man. Be professional.”

Nurse called his team’s showing “very, very disappointing.”
