GAME #63: KNICKS (40-22) @ LAC (33-29)—FRI 3/7 7:30 PM

Knicks on a b2b after a grueling loss to the Lakers. Brunson twisted his ankle in OT and is expected to be OUT vs Clippers.

New York Knicks Projected Starting Lineup: Miles McBride, Mikal Bridges, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby, Karl-Anthony Towns

Injuries: Precious Achiuwa and Mitchell Robinson are questionable. We should expect Jalen Brunson to miss the night after he sprained his ankle against the Lakers.

LA Clippers Projected Starting Lineup:
James Harden, Kris Dunn, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Kawhi Leonard, Ivica Zubac

Injuries: Norman Powell and Ben Simmons are out.

Expect Cam Payne to make at least 6 3 pointers and score over 30 points- guy saves his best games for the Clippers. KAT will probably score over 30 too. Hart will probably get 15 rebounds as well.

I know the Lakers defense is much improved, but I couldn't believe how many wide open 3s and point blank lay ups the Knicks missed last night. Hope the Clippers can overcome what is likely to be a resurgent game for them even without Brunson.

Harden and his turnovers … please I’m begging.

What a terrible start to the second. Yikes.

We don’t need Leonard jacking 20 shots but he’s like a role player now on offense. Ridiculous.

As a basketball fan, this is a GREAT matchup, and both teams are bringing the intensity. They have a good team, and so do we.

52-52. Yes, I'm having fun yet.

Crazy when you know how much time he’s missed.

Batum and Bogi deserve game ball.

Good hard fought win.

quite true- they really dug that one out. It helped that some of the 3s were falling too.

Kawhi showed great effort tonight, but man was his shot flat. You can tell he isn't a natural shooter- he has worked so hard to become one, but his shot can go flat- I don't necessarily think it is due to his knee issues, just a flaw in his shot.

Ty started Batum tonight. He was playing possum. So long ago I forgot. Nico will get max minutes in the playoffs. School's out.

Forget #6 seed. It's just not worth the sweat. The strategy now is to hang around for the play-in and show up healthy enough to make some wreckage in everybody's playoff bracket.

We are the underdogs from here on out. I just wish we had a leader to lead this pack. This is Kawhi's team but he still doesn't want it. Beard never wanted it, and backed into the MVP by being an offensive force of nature. [Plus they were sick of giving it to LeBron---but it was a robbery.]

Let's hope Valanciunas doesn't have the hall of fame level of game that he typically has against the Clippers
