Completely shut-out from this one on San Diego cable tv... Usually the KTLA games have been simulcasted on KUSI down here, but not today... drag

What a dumpster fire. We always struggle against this team.

Other than Leonard with the starters and DJJ from the bench we got a whole lotta nothing.

Much needed 3 by Harden to end the half.

Down only 10 but seems a lot more.

Kawhi is shooting his shots consistently short. This is no good. He’s also really tentative to push his body.

Kawhi started 4 of 5. I think he's dusting off Playoff Kawhi after coasting all year. But looks like it's not quite as easy as it has been in years past, when he could turn it on and off at will.

Pelicans playing pure Zion iso is why they are faltering. I don’t know their team well enough but it seems they have put too many non shooters on the floor.

No answer for Zion whatsoever. I guess it wasn't just Valacuians.. :banghead:

Need this win. Kawhi is coming back this second half. I guess he’s just really pacing himself. Harden seems to be on a roll. He has his mojo back. These games are entertaining for sure

This team can be so frustrating.

Missed free throws. :banghead:

Our hope is really on Kawhi. I have never seen him miss free throws when he’s on his game. He has to get his elite game back to have a shot. We have a really good defensive team. Just too many missed shots

damn
it was a good effort but
going back 2 decades
we still don't have a leader
maybe Norman when he gets back

also, NOLA hit 17-31 from 3
54.8%
mostly you're gonna lose when the opps hit 'em like that

Didn’t realize they shot that percentage. Those 3 in a row was rough after we made up the gap.

I know we beat them earlier this year, but this team still owns us, doesn't matter if they are 18-48.

We have no depth. I am praying Zu doesn't get hurt. How Lawrence Frank still has a job is beyond me.

for whatever reason, they play like their life is on the line against the Clippers- they were so fast and intense. Zion is a problem when healthy. Also, they are a poor 3 point shooting team, but couldn't miss tonight.

The 2nd unit of Bogdan, Coffey, Kobe, Eubanks, Simmons(?), etc. is weak as hell too. Bench was much better at the start of the season pre trade. Defense isn't that good either. Still waiting and waiting to see some type of needle mover on the development side. No Kawhi tomorrow and acquiring Simmons is a bust. SMH

Team misses Norm' and yes, Simmons too, to a lesser degree IMO

Both bring unique things to the table, and being out throws off the depth and roles flow on both ends. More ballhandling, scoring, and defensive effort for everyone that would have better coverages if both were playing in the rotation as usual.

Strong game from Kawhi at least

Miami game should be interesting.

The Bogey trade has to pan out for us as we have no margin for error, so far he seems to be tracking similar to this season on the Hawks (which is not good enough.) I don't see Simmons as much of a 'bust' since he was a free pickup, if we didn't sign him we might still have KPJ instead FWIW. He's played well for us when available, but his health was always going to be the big question mark.
