Ty Lue: “He wants to play every night. A lot of times you gotta save him from himself. But he understands how important tonight is and these last 11 games. We’re fighting for our lives to try to get that 6th seed. We’re not gonna do anything and put him on the floor if he can’t go, if he’s gonna damage himself more. But he feels good. He was moving good this morning… He’s one guy that wants to be on the floor and play every single night.”

Game is huge.
With Warriors loss tonight, Clips can take over the 6th seed with the win in NY.

Upcoming events that will be beneficial to the Clips:
1. Lakers play @Indy who is tied for 3rd best home record in NBA. They have only lost 3 times @home since the beginning of the calendar year
2. Lakers play Memphis, so one of them gets closer to us in the loss column for #5.
3. Lakers play GS, so one of them either gets closer or further away in the loss column
4. Lakers have HOU and OKC twice to to end the season. Don't see them winning all 4.
5. Memphis has OKC tomorrow, then Lakers, Boston and GS.
6. Clips have a very sweepable last 7 games (HOU will likely be lock into 2 spot and resting)

So, the #5 spot is completely in play and potentially the #4

Clippers never seem to take advantage of reclaiming that 6th seed or better. Let’s hope that changes tonight.

Great start. So good to see the Clippers take the game seriously.

I know it’s only a few games but Powell looks awful.

Zu needs to figure out that double if we’re going to keep going to him.

What a brick fest. Dug another hole they might not get themselves out of.

God I can't stand that rat face cam pain with his ugly jumpshot. I bet he loves playing against us. Hopefully their legs will start getting tired in the 2nd half. Good to see Norm getting into a rhythem in that 2nd quarter.

I don’t know how we’re up 10 but still feel like a loss.

This team is not healthy for me.

Buckle up for the 4th.

A win is a win. But I don’t like how this team plays like they know they can just flip the switch.

All the starters were +0 or worse but

Nicolas Batum 18 minutes plus+18
Derrick Jones Jr. 18 minutes plus+24
Ben Simmons 16 minutes plus+19
Bogdan Bogdanovic 18 minutes plus+14

Clippers win by 13

Tonight makes 41 wins. I've been a fan since they moved here in 1984.

Read on Twitter

The Los Angeles Clippers had a 762-1420 record (.349) between the 1984-85 and 2010-11 seasons, the losingest in the NBA.
The Los Angeles Clippers have a 656-446 record (.587) record between the 2011-12 seasons through tonight's win, 3rd best behind GSW and Boston.

Yeah, I'd love a title but after the first 30 or so years doing "the Process" over and over with losing, high draft picks, and "playing the kids"--with only occasional and very brief breaks in the misery--I've been pretty good with the non-Process. Every win is a good win, especially the not-losing part.

Nice bounce-back win

defense was impressive

Strong games from Harden, Kawhi, Batum, Simmons, Dunn, DJJ in their roles

Lord knows Kawhi's tried everything else. Just making it to and through the playoffs will be gold.

Clips did their job, but Pacers did not do their job, so Lakers still with 28 losses. We could still catch them, but Indy could have made it a little easier.

Horrendous start but a solid finish. Kawhi and Harden definitely are starting to shine. Norm still seems a little off and it might be because of the increased touches being given to Kawhi. Probably not able to get a rhythm going that Harden was giving him. They should eventually get that dialed in. I can see them holding the six spot and possibly even the 5.

Hell of a win tonight. I thought Harden should've sat because of the injury, but boy was I wrong. Norm is starting to come back around now which is great. Kawhi and Zu balled out. Defense locked down in the 3rd. The only negative is I'm wondering if Dunn is going to be playable in the playoffs with that jumper that rarely can buy a basket. We'll see. 6th seed and rising! Lets Go!
