really sucks that Westbrook gave the game away against Minnesota last night. Clippers really can't afford to lose any games from here on out.

It should be a win. We’ll see how locked in the team is tonight though. They love to drop games to teams like this.

Westbrook and Braun not pulling the ball out an burning clock was just not smart basketball. You have to burn as much clock as possible. If Westbrook makes the basket, Minny still had plenty of time to tie. So, take the time off the clock, hit the free throws and reset your defense.

I love and respect Russ's heart but his head is severely lacking. He has no dials, just an on/off switch.

Russ wasted Jokic's 60pt tripple double in a historic fashion lol.

We need to win this game but I don't like what Lou is doing with Harden. He's playing almost 40min every night and no need for it now that Norm is back. We've seen tired Harden in the past. Smart teams need to start resting their best players now. Bogi can pick up Harden's minutes until PO's

Harden keeps telling coach he doesn't want to come out. I don't think he expends any excess energy out there and Harden coasting is better than any of the second unit at full tilt. He knows what he's doing.

And nobody wants to risk the play-in, especially if that means OKC in the first round.

Only a few minutes and the struggle is real. What is it about this team?

no reason to get excited

Not the prettiest game, but I'd rather they save those for good teams. They got it done against a team that spooks them, on to the next one.

Big Zu with 7 assists, lots of handoff action. Career 1,3 ast per game player, this season at 2.5 apg. post all-star 2.7 apg.

Hope to see him go for +3 apg next season.

Full quote if you don’t want to hit the tweet.

Kawhi Leonard on an exchange he and James Harden had tonight:

“It’s needed. We had exchanges. That’s not the only exchange that we had in today’s game or throughout the whole year. It’s about what we’re doing and what we’re not executing. We had words for each other there. It’s just winning basketball. It’s chemistry. It’s knowing that your brother got your back.”

What is that dynamic like between stars?

“It’s been pretty transparent since he’s been here. I haven’t seen any stars who don’t want to get better or coached or be told what they’re doing wrong or what they’re doing well. It was a thing we all needed to do. It’s good for our teammates to see it. It wasn’t just for us. It was for everybody on the floor.”

Thanks for the info. That last bit looks nice. Beard has been dealing mostly with dysfunctional teams since his Chris Paul Houston days. He's happy and it shows.
