I'm a little undecided myself. Having a combination of only Kaman (his minutes up in the mid 40s), Powell & Thornton as your big men is scary. Thomas as it is, is not a legit 4. Williams can't be expected to log too much. It all puts its toll on Chris physically and mentally. If Thomas and Williams can stay healthy, then having a shooter like Frahm will be beneficial.

With the Davis season ending injury and constant injuries from Aaron Williams, they can't risk keeping Frahm on the team. They can't keep playing Kaman 45 mpg, the money would be better spent on a player like Kelvin Cato to play some backup C minutes. If Thomas comes back healthy, he can provide the 3 point shooting the team lacks right now.

good point. i'm for keeping frahm because dunleavy seems willing to play him, he doesn't make a lot of money and i think he can be a good role player next season when we're hopefully playing for something. i'm for letting the guy get comfortable in the system and decide in the summer whether we should have him back or not.

The Los Angeles Clippers today waived guard Richie Frahm.
Frahm, who was signed as a free agent on December 14, appeared in ten games (2 starts) and averaged 4.7 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.
The Clippers roster currently stands at 14 players.

The Clippers are expected to sign Guillermo Diaz, a guard with the Anaheim Aresenal, Tuesday to a 10-day contract. Diaz, however, could be waived on Wednesday if Frahm clears waivers and is signed to a 10-day contract.

Well, if we can give Diaz a tryout with a 10 day contract, I'm all in favor of it.
It's just sad to see Richie go since he had a couple of good games, and his non-guaranteed contract becomes nothing.
God, don't you just wish James Singleton would come back to the NBA for the Clipps to sign him? There was no reason to let him go...

At 6 feet 2 inches and 185 pounds, Diaz is more of a shooting guard in a point guard's body. He spent this season with the Anaheim Arsenal, the Clippers' development league affiliate, but was not under contract with the Clippers.
In 14 games and seven starts with the Arsenal, he scored 16.6 points in 33.1 minutes while splitting time between shooting guard and point guard.
Until Knight's injury was announced, the Clippers were expected to wait for Frahm to clear waivers in a 48-hour window before offering him the 10-day contract.
LA Times
Knight's injury will likely cause the Clippers to change their plans in signing Frahm to a 10-day contract after he clears waivers. Knight will not be practicing for awhile and his minutes look to drop. He's had a 43:1 A/T ratio in the last 10 games, while shooting a more consistent jumper as of late.

I'd love to see the guy back if he could receive playing time.
Man, I love J-Sing. Its funny to see fans have this much love for a player who realistically did not have any impact on the team. But this Singleton guy...he's just off the hook.
When he got hurt, was his contract with Tau Ceramica nullified? If not, wouldn't he be returning to Spain to play when he gets healthy?

It turns out they extended him in November through the end of the 08-09 season. So he's locked up for a year and a half. Good luck to Jumpin' James. I hope to see him bounce back from the knee injuries and have a successful career be it Europe or the NBA.
