I see that we did sign Diaz to a 10 day contract. I like this move, he seemed to have a solid pre-season and I was a little surprised when he didn't make the team. He is athletic and can shoot the 3. The problem with Diaz is that we were trying to make him a PG when he's really a SG. We'll see how Diaz plays these next 10 days.

I never was too big on him, but I'll be rooting for him nonetheless. He'll provide some athleticism in the back court along with 3-point range.

Finally, a guy on our team (besides Thornton) who can actually catch a lob...

I like his energy and athleticism on the court. It will be interesting to see how he plays.

Dunleavy said Diaz would stay throughout his 10-day contract, which serves as bad news for Frahm, who hoped to be signed to a 10-day contract once he cleared waivers Wednesday. Dunleavy and Olshey said Frahm filled his role well, but the injury to Knight required the Clippers to solidify their point guard corps.

i hope he plays in the next games since the clippers are going to probably get destroyed by the mavs and suns.

I wish we could have been the team to play the Suns when Nash was out with the flu. I'm sure that Diaz will get a few minutes though.

clippers all season have been needing to "solidify their point guard corps". i hope we keep diaz around for the year and if frahm is a free agent this summer, he will be a nice inexpensive, experiened player to fill out the roster.

I've always liked this kid(nh) since his days at Miami.

He's likely to get a 2nd 10-day contract whenever the current one expires.

I was hoping that Diaz would stay. I wonder who we will sign next.

I guess Dumbleavy didn't fit into the Clippers style of play.
Like numba2, I'm also wondering who we will sign next.

Diaz, who was signed Jan. 18 to a second 10-day contract, played a total of 18 minutes in six games, and scored five points.Dunleavy said Sunday that there were no immediate plans to fill the vacant roster spot but he acknowledged that there are two players that are being considered. Although he declined to name them, both players likely are currently playing in the NBA's developmental league.
