Any idea what the clips will do with him this summer? LA will want him to sign the one year tender but, what happens if a team like, Orlando, Atlanta or Toronto are willing to give out have of their MLE on him? Say 3 years 15 million. Will the clips save there $$$ in fear of not knowing if he's healthy? Or, would they consider matching?

What do you think?

considering how high the front office and coaching staff were on livingston before the injury, i'd be surprised if they wouldn't take a chance on 3 years $15 million. maybe a player option after the first year and a team option after the second, if that's allowed in the cba. it gives shaun incentive to play hard knowing he can opt out after a year and the team option gives the clips an option if shaun can't go.

He'll probably get the qualifying offer to see how he plays this next season. The team's trainers and physicians have monitored and helped him through this whole process. He's been traveling with the team and they've been able to see him practicing and really know what's going on with him. I doubt that an outside team that is uncertain of his progress/future is going to take much of a chance on him at this time. In the event that another team gave him 3 years at the MLE, and if the Clippers felt confident that he would hold up then they would probably match.

As long as Isaiah Thomas is GM.....

He'd be the one guy to throw out the whole MLE on Livingston...

Scary thought...
