Wo wo we wah, a game thread 2 days before tipoff? Nice.
What can we say about this game after Saturday's loss? I don't care how we win, I just want to. I'm so sick of losing.

The Clips are long due for a win right now. Especially when they had their chance against the Mavs and allow it to slip through their fingers.

We need to avoid a 3rd string of 5 or more losses. I am interested in seeing how the guys respond after the Mavs game. Do they weed out the mistakes or fall to discouragement.

Kaman sprained his ankle against Dallas and is questionable against Phoenix. Ross should be ready to play.

I think you might see Raja at the 2, Marion at the 3, and Diaw at the 4.

Of course! Go figure. On top of this, some more sad, sad news going into tonight's game: The lakers are tied with the Suns for the division lead. Should we defy all odds and win, we'll be giving the lakers a spot at the top, temporary as it may be. Makes me cringe. But so does the thought of another loss.

A real Catch-22 for us. If the guys can pull out a win, I'll gladly take that though even if it means sending the Lakers to the top of the West for a couple days.

Chris is still a game time decision 25 mins 'til tip-off and unsure if he'll be able to play.
Edit:
He will start

2 jumpers by Maggette and a layup by Cassell and it's a 4 point game. Diaw scores off of a layup to end the 6-0 Clipper run.

Nice play by Maggette. 23-18 Suns.

Clippers have made their last 6 shots and it's a 1-point game. Sam will go to the line to shoot 2. 32.6 left in the quarter.
He hits the first and ties the game up. 2nd goes down and CLips take the lead. But just like that Barbosa scores and Clippers will have the ball for the last shot. Cassell knocks down a jumper and Clippers regain the lead.
28-27 after 1.

So far it's been the Sam & Corey show. They have 24 (Sam with 14, Corey has 10) of our teams 28 points; the other 4 are from Kaman.

Nice play by Thomas. He makes the steal and taps it forward and Knight picks it up and dishes it to Powell for the basket. Powell scored again on the next possession.
