Cuban Hopes to Acquire a Clipper Favorite

The Clippers

I like Cuban as an owner. He's done a lot for the Mavericks franchise to pull them from the depths and into the elite ball club they are now. With that said, what the hell Cuban? Buying a fan? A Clipper fan at that?

I lose all my respect for Clipper D if he jumps ship for bigger bucks.

Note to Sterling, take care of your biggest fans. LOL It's all in good fun for D, he won't sell us out.

Cuban is basically sayin' his fans suck. If he wants Clipper Darrell that bad, we should trade him for Dirk Nowitzki. Our #1 Fan for their #1 Player. Fair deal.

Wow, what a terrible thing to do. Offer money to a life-long die-hard fan of one team, to try to jump ship and join another team? Come on Cuban. I like Cuban the owner, but this is ridiculous.

If I understand it correctly, this "fan" is a fantastic booster/cheerleader. Our fans suck and only 10-20% actually cheer or care about what's happening on the court so maybe this guy would be able to help improve that.

I am completely ignorant to the Clipper fans, but I do know him. If he leaves who is our best fan left Frankie Muniz? I understand what he is saying, but like he said, loyalty to the Clippers first.

How do yall sell out nearly every game to a crowd that doesn't care?

I'd rather have Michael Clarke Duncan representin' than Malcolm. That's all.
But aside from all that.....wtf Cuban?

I have no idea. I remember a month ago, Cuban distributed white(?) MFFL shirts for everyone to wear so that everyone would look in unison, however a lot of people wore it underneath their jacket or didn't bother to participate, so the desired effect was moot.
Since he's pirating Clippers guys anyway, maybe he should do everything in his power to get Ralph Lawler and Mike Smith to replace our god-awful announcing team?

At least you guys are winning games...

We can say we have one of the best announcing teams in the NBA as a achievement. That's something we'll not get rid of for a long time.

Fixed.
Bob Ortegel, Mark Followill, Juwan Howard, Maurice Ager, and a top-3 protected 2008 1st rounder for Ralph Lawler and Mike Smith.
RealGM accepts!

Haha, now if the Clippers had actually been good for a long time, who knows about how much pub they would have received. It's kind of nice having them under the radar though.
I say Dirk and Howard for Lawler alone. We'll take a top-3 protected for Smith.

Ralphie & Mike = Clips fans only pride and joy!
As much as any game may hurt our eyes, at least our ears are blessed with the sweet sounds of these two. There ain't no better!

Exactly. The best part of Clipper basketball throughout the years has been Ralphie and his sidekick (currently the man with a 1000 kids). Even through the losses they remain a bright spot.
Ralph & Mike were talking about this on tonight's broadcast and said that Darrell will be making a trip to Dallas on the 25th.

Well let's just hope that they don't make that trip with him.
How desperate is Cuban, anyway, trying to buy a fan from another team? He needs to get a grip.

How about these two and a condition first round fan picks.

The Dallas Mavericks seemingly have instituted a full-court press on the Clippers

Just heard from someone credible that Darrell has accepted a $150,000 deal and a new house to move to Dallas.

Darrell is my idol, how can he do this. I thought he would be a Clippers fan forever. How can he even consider moving to Dallas. I guess money talks
