New Orleans win 108-92. New Orleans showed why they currently sit atop the West in standings. The Clippers could not contain their sharpshooting from 3. They dropped 14 from downtown while shooting 58%. They out-rebounded us (15 offensive), played much better defense, and shot lights out. I give the Clippers credit for their run in the 3rd to actually take the lead but damn it didn't last very long at all. West & Paul had less than stellar offensive games, but Peja, Pargo & Butler more than made up for that with 12 3's.

We all know what did us in, in this game. All i can say is that the only person who didn't hit a 3 on this team was Tyson Chandler.
Anyways I have to give it to the Hornets, no one thought that they would have started this well this season. I've always been a fan of Chris Paul, since he was at Wake Forest.
The Hornets made 11 more 3 pointers than we did. Besides us getting out rebounded and with us only scoring 92 points we didn't play that bad. The Hornets were just hot from 3, let's just get it done in Memphis tomorrow.

I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I would usually blame Maggette for his man making open shots but the shots that Stojakovic made tonight were just unreal.ClipperDomination wrote:From what you guys have said, the main thing that killed us was:
1) Shot selection
2) Defending the three point shot
Basically what seems to hurt us most of the time comes to haunt us again.
Oh well, we have a definitely winnable game against the Grizz coming up.

There was one play in particular where I remember Corey stuck to Peja like glue; had a hand in his face and his body right up against him. Peja's feet weren't set and he had to fade away to get the ball over Magg's outstretched hand.........splash.
