Clippers @ Memphis

Image VS Image

Who: Clippers @ Grizzlies
When: Saturday, January 26th
Where: FedEx Forum, Memphis
Time: 5:00 PST

The Clippers have lost six straight road games and are facing a very talented, but inconsistent Grizzlie team. This is going to be a game that needs to won for the Clippers, because the Grizz can be without both Gasol and Conley JR who have been playing well as of late.

Things To Watch:
MIKE MILLER: Last game the Clippers gave up fourteen three pointers and Mike Miller is not shy to jacking up the three's at will.
Chris Kaman: He will probably matched up against Darko Millcic and it should be interesting. At times Millcic can play fantastic defense, then again at times he is not focused. Either way Kaman should be able to dominate.

Team Injuries:
Clippers:
Aaron Williams Jan 15, 2008 Wrist - out indefinitely
Paul Davis Dec 21, 2007 Sprained right knee - out for season
Shaun Livingston Oct 30, 2007 Torn knee ligaments

Grizz:
Pau Gasol Jan 25, 2008 Sore back
Mike Conley Jan 25, 2008 Chest
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.
C- Maluach l Jackson l Hayes
PF- Okongwu l Newell l Salaun
SF- Wiggins l Bryant l McNeeley
SG- Thomas l Wallace l Nembhard
PG- Murray l Collier l Dillingham

If Gasol can't play, this should be a game where all we should do is throw the ball down to Kaman.

I feel like the Clipps can and will take this one, and finally get a road win.

Go Clipps!

Right now, the Grizz can't beat anybody. And if Gasol ain't playing....I don't know how it gets any better for the Clips.

The Grizz are banged up like the Clips are right now. They are in a losing skid once again. So the Clips got the green light on this win. Just play smart.

I hope to see the guys (primarily Kaman and Thornton) bounce back from yesterday's loss. Kaman only had a single attempt in the second half of last night's game.

Wtf, no Kaman tonight, and Dunleavy starts WILLIAMS in his place? No Gasol for Memphis either. Williams defense is making Darko Milicic look like a top 3 draft pick or something.

Oh, wait...

Memphis leads 14-10.

19-12 Grizzlies halfway through the first. Williams and Mobley are both starting tonight. Memphis has to cool off though. They're already 3-5 from 3.

With no Kaman and a pair of banged up back-up big men, I don't know how we're gonna grab a rebound tonight. Right now, the lineup is Cassell, Mobley, Maggette, Thornton, & Thomas. Clippers down 5, Tim at the line to *try* and complete the 3pt play.

Thomas is once again working down low and it is paying off for him. Clips have cut the lead to 3.

Miller drives to the hoop gets the bucket and is fouled. He completes the 3-point play. Memphis leads 36-28 at the end of the first quarter.

Despite putting up 28 in the first quarter...we look turrible.

We're shooting decently but lack the physical play that Kaman would bring. We gave up 5 offensive boards.

Thornton just picked up his 3rd foul with 10 minutes left in the 2nd. :nonono:
