61-59 at the half. Better play out of the Clippers in the 2nd quarter. Each time we tie it up Memphis pulls ahead, but at least we've been able to catch them heading into the half. They need to contest each 3. Memphis has already knocked down 8. Sammy has brought us back into this game with some key plays. Maggette leads the way with 17 and Thomas is right behind with 15 on 7-8 shooting. Let's Go Clips!

This game would be so much easier with The Kaveman out there.

Clippers down two at half. TT is play really well. We need to stop giving up points in the paint, and play better help defense.

Yep. I give him so much credit for holding up strong for 39 straight games while carrying the team on his back though. He's shown a lot this season.

Powell and Thomas are doing a good job in his absence though.

Powell plays really good post defensive. Haven't noticed it until now.

Maggette with a fast break layup, and the Clipps are down 70-69.

Thomas ties it up at 71. Gay is slow to get up after taking a bump from Timmy.

Powell got dropped by Darko-- undercut, to be more specific. Dunleavy gets a T (atta boy Dun), but not before getting all pink and huffy. Tie game, tensions getting high....GIT EM CLIPS!

Bad play by Sammy with the shot clock winding down and the Grizz get an easy two. Whenever the Clipps are close to taking the lead, they never go over the hump. It's not fun to watch.

Eeek. Sam with 3 turnovers in the 3rd (bad pass, charge and now a travel). As I type he just picks up his 4th foul.

Four fouls on Sam, who is looking uncharacteristically sloppy tonight. 77-81 Grizz.

Mobley with yet another terrible shot, and Gay connects on the other side. Grizz up 8.

90-82 at the end of 3. Memphis with a strong finish in the 3rd quarter were up by 10 before Maggette drives to the hoop with the lay-in in the closing seconds of the quarter to bring the Clips within 8.
