New Moderator

Clipper Nation,

I am pleased to announce the introduction of the newest member of the Clippers Moderating team. We all know him very well.

He first became a fan of the team in the mid-90's and the fact that he's still here says a lot about his loyalty. As a Clipper fan you've got to be a loyal person. He's well respected by fellow fans/posters and is a widely known representative of Clipper Nation here on RealGM. He has a strong desire to see our board continue to grow in our activity, interactions with other team's fans and with the welcoming of other Clipper fans looking for a home to share in our triumphs (and hopefully to a lesser extent, our struggles).

Before I announce the new mod, I'd like to thank each candidate that participated in the moderator search. Thank you all for your time and patience. I know it was a very long process but each of you were great and are highly respected. You help make this place what it is.

Please join me in giving a warm welcome to loflin3hree5ive!! We're confident that you will do an excellent job as a moderator.

thank you mk. maintaining my loyalty to the clippers has been easy, explaining my love for the clippers to my friend and family has been the difficult part. but i don't have to explain anything to you guys on realgm. our intimate group of posters have been the most loyal and knowledgeable group of fans i've ever had the pleasure of talking basketball with.

the only time my loyalty was ever tested here on realgm is when i wasn't elected moderator the first time around after tlaf left. i posted on a few different clippers boards and blogs, but it took me hardly any time at all to realize i was already amongst the best clippers fans on the net here at realgm and that talking with anybody but you guys leaves an empty feeling in my clippers fanhood.

i've got a gut feeling our teams fortunes are about to change this summer and our tight-nit fan base is about to expand dramatically. but even when that does happen, i'm certain our great core group of posters this board has now will maintain the high level of knowledge, passion and classiness that this clippers board has constantly exemplified through good and bad over the past several years i've gotten to know you guys.

thank you everybody for your support. i feel right at home talking to you guys and i hope you feel the same with me. if there is anything i can do as moderator to better serve my fello clippers fans, please don't hesitate to ask. i'm excited to serve everybody as best i can.

I totally agree with that. I think that going into next season with a healthy team (better team) will help bring back some of those that left and brand new posters that may be lurking right now. Everybody who is on here is what makes this place what it is and attractive to others. It's on all of us to keep up the quality.
