This is a good opportunity for us to have our first back-to-back victories since the 4 game winning streak to start the season. I would have liked to have seen Thornton & Young go at it. Also, I hope Chris keeps an eye on Reggie.
Kaman might want to pack a taser just in case.

Too bad he won't be able to get off his butt to help the team do so. Thomas.

I didn't wanna say it, cuz I thought I'd jinx it, but I'm right there with you MK. What I really like about this road trip is that we've seen consistent effort (shorthanded as we are) from the guys. The win in Toronto was a testament to that. As long as the guys stay focused, it could end up like Tim Thomas said it would.

Sixers win 101-80. I guess I jinxed us JJ
I didn't catch the radio broadcast. Just looking at the boxscores, it looks like Dalembert gave Kaman trouble and perhaps visions of Evans affected his game. Kaman only shot 2-10 and was blocked 3 times. Maggette put up 26 points but his 3 was not falling tonight (1-5). Thornton scooped up a double double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. He started in place of Tim Thomas who missed the game due to back spasms. Mobley put up 19 but it wasn't enough. Sixers had 5 players in double figures, 33 points off the bench compared to our 8. They also outrebounded us by 11 and shot just under 53%
It kind of sucks when we have a strong performance and things are looking good and then the next game is a smack back to reality. Next up is Milwaukee, who are currently beating New York. They've lost 4 of their last 5.

MK! You beat me to it.
This loss had nothing to do with Philly's abundance of layups, the Clips lack of effort, Sam & Kaman's combined 4-16 shooting, or the lack of productivity from the bench (7pts total). It was our boy mkwest's bringing up the consecutive wins that did it. Thanks bro. Oh, and seven whole replies to the game thread? Damn. Non-televised games get these threads poppin'.
