"Clippers Brand unsure of return this season"

Tuesday, for the first time, Brand expressed some doubt about playing this season.

"It's tough because the end of the season's not really conducive to full-court practice," Brand said. "You want to go over the other team's plays and things like that, but we really don't have five-on-five settings as much as I would like to, so we'll see."

"It will be a disappointment just because it's official games, but as soon as guys are ready I'll be playing five-on-five anyways," Brand said of the possibility of not returning this season.

Brand, who can become a free agent this summer, is still performing half-court activities and one-on-one drills.

Elton is such a class act. I hope he sits, gets completely healthy and at the same time the franchise can hopefully get a few extra ping pong balls for this years draft in the process.

I expected those types of thoughts from EB. His classy reputation precedes him here. I had a feeling that he would feel guilty, but I don't think it's something that he should hold himself responsible for. I respect him for just be a giving person who is so selfless. I still would love to see him back on the court this season, even if it was only the last game. This guy desperately wants back on the court, brought up playing for the Arsenal, and now even if it's just scrimmages after the season ends. That's dedication right there.

Just stay at home(or behind the bench) EB no need to rush back.

I would love to see EB come back. But if he feels like he's not ready then he should sit. I'd rather that he's be completely healthy next season than risking aggravating the injury this season.

Maybe he should play in our final game of the season just for a few minutes. I don't think that that would be too bad.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!
