Game note: Dirk Nowitzki is out for two weeks after hurting his left leg and ankle in Sunday's loss to the Spurs in Dallas. Which means Dirk will miss the March 31st matchup at Staples when the Mavs take on the Clips for the 4th and final time of the season.

That Dirk injury looked pretty bad, so I'm glad if he only misses 2 weeks. Kaman wants to play but Dunleavy wants him to sit another week. Now that Dirk is out, I definitely don't think we'll see kaman playing Tuesday.

I'm not too surprised if Kaman is expected to miss another game. It's not like the Clips are playing for the playoffs. As for Dirk's painful injury. It was hard to watch for real. Reminded me of that time I rolled on my right ankle playing bball for yrs ago. It took about three weeks for my ankle to completely heal up.

Hopefully we'll have a better chance of beating the Mavs. Having Kaman would be a plus but I'm sure Dunleavy still wants him to sit.

I don't know about yall, but I think that some of our losses are starting to look suspect. We were competitive against Portland at home until Maggs sat for the longest time in the fourth quarter. Now, Kaman is saying he wants to play and is good to go but the brass is still making him sit. I don't wanna insinuate anything...but I will. I'm not a fan of this "lets win by losing" notion. Like we saw with Boston & Memphis last year, having the most losses does not necessarily translate directly into the top pick. I wanna break 30 wins...so let's get to goin'.

David Stern already knew that both Boston and Memphis were in tank mode so he fix it that both Memphis and Boston get the 4th and 5th picks respectively. As for this year's draft, you got teams like the Heat, Sonics, Wolves, Grizzlies, Knicks, and Clippers battling for the top three pics of this year's draft. Out of the teams I just listed. Don't be too surprised if the Heat get first dibs with D-Wade and Marion on the roster along with Riles looking to making some miracle upgrades like Boston did last offseason.

Sucks to see Dirk out... If Howard doesn't step up they'll probably miss the playoffs. I don't even like GS or Den so I'm hoping they can pull through and at least take one of the two don't make it.

Just check some of Mobley's fouls in close games. It's been ridiculous.

I can't/won't root for the team to lose either. Although, I don't get overly frustrated unless it's just a miserable performance. As far as the PPB's go, losing doesn't help too much when the other Ping Pongers can't win either. Saturday night was a fluke.

If Smush plays, we lose. :D

Anyways, this game should be a bit closer since Dirk is out, but I still don't expect to win this game.

That just means another game closer to getting Derrick Rose.

We've already lost enough to get us a pretty good pick in this years draft. I would like to see us get a few more wins. I have said this many times, I'm not a fan of tanking. Having 7-9 guys available to play sounds a little fishy to me. I know our guys can't be this hurt, I say some of our players suck it up in play. Kaman even wants to play but the staff won't let him. I say let some of our better players play.

9-2 with a little over 2 minutes gone by in the first.

Transition has been the key for the Mavs.

22-10 Mavs with 6:19 left in the first.

Transition and open looks has been the story so far. The Clipps are not playing defense, and the Mavs are getting tons of offensive rebounds.

Clipps down 28-24 at the end of the first. The Mavs started to cool down, and the Clipps are now right back in this one.

51-44 Mavs at the half.

I haven't been able to see this one. Looking at the boxscore, the Clippers are giving up a lot of offensive rebounds. Dampier already has a double double with 12 & 12. Corey also has 12 to lead the Clippers in scoring. Ouch!! Parker, Powell, Thomas & Thornton are a combined 4-19.

Mavs win 103-90. Thornton said that his leg has been bothering him and that it's not the rookie wall that he's hit. I hope it feels better soon, although he has little opportunity to rest it right now.

Another loss for them, when will they end. Thornton is in a slump, I hope he picks up his game. We all know that he can play better.
