Sixers fan here. There has been a lot of speculation that the Sixers will try to sign Elton Brand in the offseason, since they have a ton of cap room. I'm just curious how he has looked and if he shows any ill effects from his achilles injury. Hope he recovers well.
Thanks

He looks amazing. Good luck in signing him, you're going to need a miracle.

If he opts out we got a great shot. If not, we obviously won't get him. It'll be fun to see how it plays out. I've always been a big fan of him, so I wish him success regardless.

Too bad for yall it's not lookin' like he's gonna opt out, but like loflin said he really does look great. Doesn't even seem too rusty...I'm lookin for him to have another All-Star-like season in 2008-09.

EB has been great. I don't think there's a single person that he hasn't surprised in his return, not even his teammates/coach. From not playing in a regular season game for 11 1/2 months to averaging 26 minutes in a back to back is crazy. All he really needs is the offseason to prepare for a bounce back season for '08-09. The guy's work ethic is top notch and there's a few guys that I hope spend a lot of time training with him this summer. From an outsider's perspective, I wouldn't get my hopes up that he'll opt out, but I understand why there's the interest from other teams despite coming back from an injury.

He's been overachieving, to say the least.

I wouldn't say Elton is overachieving. More like he's picking up where he left off. I can't believe what I'm seeing tonight against Houston.

Hell yes he's overachieving. When people advise him that he is going to get limited minutes from a year long torn achillies injury, you don't expect for him to perform like this.

People speculated his career would be over after this injury... Elton is one tough mofo, no two other words about it

I never heard that Elton's career wasn't going to be over after his injury.
