I'm going to this game!
This is a very, very important game for the Nuggets. Let's play the role of spoilers! Plus, I want GS to make the playoffs.

Have fun.I would prefer GS to make the playoffs as well. I really dislike Melo..
Thanks, and it's not really that I dislike Melo or AI (I really like AI), but it's that I love watching the Warriors. I mean who doesn't love their Run 'N Gun style of play?
I think I'm getting the chance to watch players on both teams warm up hours before the game.

I hear fan appreciation nights at Staples are a pretty big to-do...I hope you have a great time!
The Nuggets are gonna come in hungry, and as much as I want a W I just don't think we have the stuff to keep up with 'em. Hopefully it's a competitive matchup though.

I'll never understand why people show up at Clippers games in lakers attire. I was there on Sunday and saw a few people in yellow "24" jerseys...I'll never understand it. You don't wear a Rockies jersey to a Dodgers-Padres game. Its beyond me.

You should just sell the tix if you plan on rockin purple/piss @ a Clipper game.

Anyways, good to see the emergence of Powell in EB's return.

Let's go CLIPS!
I'm really happy for Josh and his production.

Let's spoil, it's always fun to do that. But like Elton said we can't catch a break because right when Brand comes back Maggette goes out. Let's do our best to beat Denver.

Have a good time at the game CD & Kno (even if you'll be rocking that other LA team's colors
).
Josh was sick in the last game! He's shown continual improvement. It's funny because at the beginning of the year I was mad that he was taking up a roster spot that could have been used for another player (J-Sing). Powell didn't play and didn't look particularly good when he did. He's come out and shown his worth. It's pretty much certain that he'll get the rest of his contract picked up.

Denver had a quick start pulling out 7-2 in the first few minutes but the Clippers have taken the lead 16-15 with 4:16 left in the first. Mobley has looked nice in so far. He's elevating on his shots and has also been able to get to the basket with ease.

I see that we're tied up after the first, 23-23
Posted: Wed Apr 9, 2008 3:10 am
23-23 tie at the end of the first. It could have been a 25-23 lead but Ross' released the shot a hair too late after receiving the pass from Thomas. Mobley is having a great first quarter. He's 10 of our 23 on 4-7 shooting. Other than Ross (who has 5 points, 2/3 FG), the rest of the starting lineup is 3 for 10. Melo has been getting it done for Denver. He has 13 on 6-8.

Nuggets have pulled ahead by 8. 44-36 with 5:32 left in the half. Clippers have been fouling too much and the Nuggets have been able to get to the line and the extend the lead. Iverson has turned it on and has scored 9 in the quarter. Mobley had a bad behind the back pass to some invisible player that Iverson scooped up and dished to Kleiza who finished with the slam.

It looks like Denver is picking it up against us

Posted: Wed Apr 9, 2008 3:38 am
55-47 Nuggets with 2:22 remaining in the half. Clips have looked better tonight with Dickau manning the point. Brand has scored the last 10 points for the Clippers.

63-47 at the half. I don't know how many times the Nuggets got to the foul line in the quarter but they have shot 21 free-throws in the game so far. We had some bad passes that the Nuggets were able to pick and score easily on the break. They were getting alley-oops as well. Despite the 15 fouls that we have committed nobody has more than 2. Brand and Mobley have both put up 13. Mobley has been decent scoring-wise but is a guilty culprit of some of those bad/lazy passes. Thornton had a 3 early in the first but has yet to get into the game. He'll need to emerge on the offensive end if we're going to get back into this and make it a ball game.

We let Denver score 40 points in that quarter
