On the uncertainty of the roster come offseason
Our biggest concern right now is Shaun. His progress has been really good and solid. There

There goes Dumbleavy with his priorities out of wack again. Livingston is his biggest concern right now?!?!?!? What? How about re-signing EB?? Does that even matter to him? He said he'd bet that both will be back? I don't see Maggette coming back, as do a lot of people. The only good thing he said was that the draft was a priority this summer.
And all he does is use the injury bug as an excuse. As if other teams don't have injuries. There is no way a team with the talent that they have should only win 23 games. NO WAY. A good coach wouldn't allow that. Nate McMillan got 40 wins out of an Oden-less team. Mo Cheeks got 40 wins out of a Philly team that no one expected much from. Even Jim O'Brien got a Pacers team that was supposed to be worse than the Clips to clock in 35 wins (w/out O'neal and Tinsley for most of the season).
And be it ludicrous for me to say this, but I think even Isiah Thomas could squeeze more than 23 wins out of this team. YIKES.
But the reality is, Dumbleavy won't get fired. We're stuck with this guy until his contract ends. You know how they have a "how many days until Bush is out of office" countdown? Maybe we should have one for Dumbleavy.
