A loss tonight would be good for two reasons: (1) it improves our chances in the lottery and (2) a New Orleans win and a Laker loss would put them 0.5 game ahead of the Lakers for the #1 seed.
And that would make my day.

26 all at the end of 1. C.K. West scored the first 14 points for the Hornets before Mo Pete knocked down a 19-footer. He has 20 in the quarter on 7-8 shooting. My fantasy team thanks him. The Clippers were led by Al with 11, followed by Maggette (5) and Fazekas (4).

There's still room for one more tomorrow.

Clips surprisingly have the lead at the half, 51-49. Ralph mentioned earlier in the second quarter that Ross' 3 was his 9th of the season (9-21 or 40%). I remember heading into the season that Ross was working to extend his range and make the 3 a part of his arsenal a la Bruce Bowen. He has had his games this season where he played well on both sides of the ball. I know that he's our defensive specialist and all, but I would have liked to have seen him take more advantage of the lack of scorers and increase his efficiency on offense throughout this season.

I like that we're up at half time. I really can't remember the last time that we led at the half. Let's keep it up and try and beat this team.

Ever since I started watching the Hornets have really picked up their game. Peja has started hitting 3s against us again

I don't even want to know what kind of run the Hornets have been on. At least this isn't as bad as the last time we were in New Orleans and they hit like 6 3s on us.

The Hornets doubled us up in scoring in the third, they're up 83-68

83-68 NO at the end of the 3rd. I missed about half of the quarter but Paul really started to turn things on. With West scoring like he was in the first half, Paul could take it easy but when he did get going the Hornets pulled ahead by 15.
Hornets with 4 players in double figures. Clips only have 1. Al has 21 on 8-15 shooting.

Julian Wright two-handed throw down on Fazekas.

Thornton is definetly impressing me. That dunk by Wright over Fazekas was crazy. I know that's going to be on some high light.
The rest of our team needs to pick it up.

The Hornets just completely dominated us in the second half. One more game to see if we can get one more win. The season hasn't been very bright so I'm hoping that we can get a win tomorrow. Thornton played well but no one else really did much.
114-92 Hornets
